I managed to sneak a whole 18 pack of Oly into the stadium for Hammer. Wasn't even checked by security. Hammer didn't show up. Nor did anyone else, only some guy asleep on the field and another guy running around naked. I drank all the Oly and walked home. :)

Dude I was there also. How did we miss each other? Too much oly??

I blame it on all the people who didn't come back for the 3rd quarter and to much Oly.

Let them run on the field to celebrate what will more than likely be their last win this season!

These fans were smart enough to realize that this was probably the only chance they'd have to storm the field in the playoffs. Give them some credit for understanding their situation.

No worries about EWU or anyone storming the field after beating us for awhile as it is too coomon place now! It is longer a big deal.

One thing to keep in mind is that students that storm are not hard boiled fans like us that are old. This is their first rodeo and they are in the moment and enjoying the experience. They will in time mature into the negative blog posters we are today. Silly kids!

You can't say one and done, so this is the best you can come up with!?[/qu Is there no one on shat nation that will talk to you. Looking for validation on a rivals website is a long shot. Go back to licking the window until mom gets home, you will surely be more entertained. :thumb:

Let em' storm the field, it is a playoff win. Better than EWU storming the field after a regular season win.

I like it when the crowd comes onto the field after the game to celebrate with the players. What's not to like about it? It's a fun way for the crowd to be involved. I hardly think it is a "act like you've been here before" issue. I believe the NCAA discourages it, but I don't believe there is actually a rule against; I think it depends on the venue.

Did anyone see the Sefarian-Jenkins kid from UW get sucker punched and laid out flat by the WSU student? That was an ugly event and I'm sure it is an example of why it is discouraged. I guess you just have to trust that people don't do that sort of thing...

Actually this website is usually much more entertaining, and that is not considered a compliment.

Thats because we usually play better football on this side of the state. We are usually the ones talking football in Dec. It must be part of the zombie apocalypse. Strange days we live in, never thought I would witness such atrocities.

On a side note, the litter box is pretty nice now. Great seats, great weather, crazy fans, hungover as hell today.

I drove by Washington-Grizzly stadium yesterday, and nobody was storming the field. I guess we've been there before.

Oh crap! I stormed Wa Griz yesterday. I tried to tear down a goalpost, got tired, and fell asleep on the turf.

That was you sleeping? I jumped over you while I was streaking through WA Griz yesterday.

Oh, I wasn't sleeping at that point. Your secret is safe with me. ;)

It is refreshing to see a fan base so genuinely excited about a playoff win. It was a fun environment and everyone there had an excellent time.

I know it upsets some of you Griz fans and you have a lot of ideas about how the Cats should be running things, but the Cats have now won 30 games in the McGhee era. How many have the Griz won in that same time? I think that based on the complete picture, the Cat recipe for success prevails.

As some Griz posters have pointed out, if this is what your program has come to - criticizing your in-State rival for having fun on their own field in the playoffs when you aren't a participant - it is truly pathetic. I think most people would say that you have many of your own problems to focus on right now.

Cheers.

But it's banned by the NCAA to be on the field post game. they prob won't ever.say anything but it is a NCAA rule in the playoffs no fans allowed on the field.
The NCAA can stuff it.....what would they do? Make you forfeit?

This just in....the NCAA announced, just moments ago, that Montana State University will be banned from having any spectators at any future football games for the next 20 years, or whenever the cat fans, involved in the massive invasion of the playing field following a playoff victory, grow up, whichever is longer. When asked about the severity of the penalty, a spokesman for the NCAA said they felt it was necessary in lieu of the comment of one fan making the statement "The NCAA can stuff it.....what would they do? Make you forfeit?" Stay tuned for further events.

I am sure NDSU will get the same wrist slap for doing their first down call over the PA, its all the same penalty that EWU got in 2010 for allowing bells

I'm glad someone posted a picture of the event. Christ! I pictured sideline to sideline bodies, not this. Looks like they are having...............fun.

I figured this thread would find its way on here. I'm sorry a bunch of kids ran onto the field and hurt your feelings, what's the big f***[*] deal? You dumbasses are such hypocrites, Poole gets arrested for buying drugs and lots of you say " oh, its ok, he's just a kid, give him a break!" But a bunch of college students run onto the field and you get your panties in a bunch. Get over it, they are kids. Do you have nothing better to do than whine about this?
You're normally a good poster...I see you decided to go the way of your brethren and be a total f***.
Sorry, just frustrated, my apologies.

Puss.

NEVER apologize!!! :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:
