I am a Cat fan. Coach Stitt is the second coming of Rob Ash. You guys used to play really tough with swagger. Now, the Griz play soft. You guys need to get the swagger back and play nasty. Just say’in!

Even a cat fan f***[*] sees it .lol
Shitt =rob ash 2.0

I realize that it is pointless to "discuss" this with you but isn't Rob Ash the most successful coach y'all had in like almost 40 years?

And reading the excuse-making and weak silver-linings that you and others are desperately trying to sell to us looks exactly like reading the Bobcat board during the Ash years following yet another loss.

What "excuses" are you referring to? I don't view describing reasons that caused losses is making excuses.

Who do you think won the battle in the trenches?

Turnovers and penalties are part of the game, and turnovers especially have a large impact on games, and there is no excuse for the, but getting beat by the opposing team in all or most phases of the game, is worse in my view. As it would show that the other team was just plain better than UM.

If Weber take aways of 5, are reduced to 3, who wins the game? To 2? To 4?

Did the Griz D get beat up in the pass game?

Did Weber run it down our throats?

What did Weber do to beat the Griz, other than take advantage of several turnovers and penalties?

To me, this shows that UM is capable of winning each of its remaining games. Both because of the quality of players and the heart/fight of the team. Will they? Who knows? They may not. They may not have Jensen next game, I would guess. They may have 5 turnovers again. They may come up short. Are they capable of losing 2 of the next 3? I suppose they are. Look at last season. However, this team looks different to me.

I'm sure not giving up on this team.

Watching and noting how hard the team played in the second half, on both sides of the ball, is not a weak silver lining.

All I gotta say is I guess we will see what this team is made of the next 3 weeks!

Let’s not confuse players who go out and give their all and coaching... there is not one person l know who gives up on the kids but if they are as good as some think why have they struggled so much against quality teams?

Correct. Anyone with any sense knows that two weeks is not enough time to have the team prepared for a game like this. Such ragged play, to include ongoing woeful ST performance is unfair to a coaching staff who meant well.
I'd say 503 yards of O against the con's highly touted #1 D was due to some good preparation.
Running up yards is not so difficult when you spot that team with the #1 D four scores right out of the gate. Great preparation.

I'm confused by your logic. When we rack up 500 yards but only score 27 points because of turnovers its a bad thing. HOWEVER, earlier in the year when the opposition was doing the same against us, racking up 500 yards, scoring less points then us - you still complained.

I'd rather give up 600 yards and win the game....then get 500 yards, give up less than 300 yards and lose the game. That's why yardage means nothing. Execution, turnovers, mistakes and penalties cost us this game.

You left off field position which helps explain the difference in total yards.
The targeting penalties come from coaching tackling fundamentals and we saw what that was about in last years' Brawl. Unless this is cleaned up I expect to semore losses.

Targeting also comes from players not listening to coaches stressing the point of playing clean ( if it has been stressed). As for tackling fundamentals a lot of money was spent on a stupid robot which seemed to encourage launching into it in every video clip I saw, not good fundamental break downs and wrapping up. That money maybe would have been better allocated to use in a search for a couple new assistant coaches to replace ones that are proving to be inadequate and might ultimately cost Stitt his job.
