Stitt

Say what you will about the players, I don't blame a one of them, aside from maybe a serious confidence issue with the extra point game. But the meltdown's and the general lack of enthusiam truly speaks less to the quality on the field as much as it speaks to the quality of the coaching. They don't look like they want to be out there, playing for this guy. I've seen way less talented teams that don't give up. We look like we threw in the towel after Cal Poly. And that is coaching. Mississippi Valley State and Sac State don't count. Front Running in Washington Grizzly is a lot easier than playing a good football team on the road. I see absolutely no ability for the coaches to make adjustments after halftime either. And I'm sorry, but the green hat is disgusting. It'd be tolerable if it seemed that it worked.

The trouble with fan sites is that there are so many tiny minds exorcising embarrassingly small demons with embarrassingly large theories.

So, it's nice that it gives you something to do, right?

Coaching matters...as I watched that UNC game in the stands of Nottingham Field, I was throughly disappointed. I watched Stitt yell and scream at his players. It didn't instill confidence. It didn't provide motivation. His lack of ingenuity in the red zone showed. His team...HIS TEAM...is slumping...and that is ALWAYS on the coach.

I work with a guy who worked at a liquor store in Greeley when Joe Glen won UNC's last national championship. He told me Joe showed up after the game and bought 30 cases of beer for the team. My point is that the players need to believe in the coach. The COACH needs to believe in his players. Nothing short of contributing to the delinquency of a minor is what Stitt needs right now. Let's beat the Cats. Let's drink 30 cases of beer. Let's get back to winning!!!!

Go GRIZ!

I highly doubt our coach bought 30 cases of beer for his team that half consists of underage kids. If he did that is not something I would boast or be proud about.

I think we all know who the poor, obsessed monomaniac with a need for something to do is, and who it is who can't seem to find anything constructive to fulfill that need. You've been charged with having an agenda against Stitt ... one of the more laughable understatements of the times. The endless hours you must spend on your petty grudge match against the guy borders on hatred ... it's reached such grotesque proportions that it has to be something personal ... come clean, did he snub your blowhard ass at some function of "insiders?"

I didn't say I bought 30 cases...nor did I say that Joe Glen boasted that HE bought the beer. The bottom line is believe what you want, but Joe Glen loved his players, and his players loved him.

I never said you did or he boasted about it. Maybe read my post again.

I said I highly doubt our coach bought 30 cases of beer for our football team

IF he did however, it is not something I would be overly fond of and I am sure the NCAA would have a lot to say about.

Heal thyself. Are you married to Eruil by any chance?

I'm staying on the Stitt bandwagon and I'm willing to keep everyones seat warm till you return.
I think Stitt has brought in some really good players that everyone will get to know next season.
A lot of the key contributors will be a year older and better next year.
I love the o-line recruits waiting in the wings.
Calhoun will be back and a couple of the red shirt RB could be special.

I think another coaching change would be a disaster, you would be right back to a new coach running his style that may not fit the recruits Stitt is bringing in.

Lastly I realize the Griz have not been a dominating team for about 8yrs now and I believe it is too much to ask any coach to make the team National contenders in a three year period when they have not been for over 10 years!

Didn't they say that for this year ?

How'd you hold that down to such a short retort? Usually you manage to demonstrate how verbosity is the soul of witlessness, so well.

Joe Glenn was/is also one of the single BIGGEST Bob Stitt advocates on the face of the earth. They are extremely good friends. Stitt absolutely admires everything about Joe, and Joe campaigned hard for him to get the Montana job. So, you might want to pick a different guy as an example to portray Stitt in a negative light. I'm not saying there aren't examples out there for you, but Glenn isn't one of them. Don't take my word for it though. Ask him yourself, or, if you can't get ahold of him, go back and look at the interviews he did with the Missoulian in the weeks leading up to, and in the days following Stitt's hire.

So, you are married to Eruil! That explains the deep unhappiness in both your posts. Jayzuz, you are one tortured individual, deserving of sympathy. Who is the male and who is the female? Oops. I forgot. It doesn't cleave along those lines anymore. OK. Are you the snowflake or the buttercup?

The reason you're such an ineffectual windbag is because your attempts at insult do not connect to anything in evidence. Of course, that whole gay thing is just devastating ... to the moron stupid enough to try to use it.

That's the hard way to admit you are Eruil's husband, father, uncle, and cousin. However, it explains, fully, all of it. It only leaves open the eternal B. Hauck question, are you also her aunt?

Okay, that made me laugh like Linda Blair after Father Merrin died.

Given the opportunities you two present, I suppose the horizon is endless.

Exactly. I have been concerned about this for quite some time. It could explain why they start the season strong and end up looking like state in November. We are lucky to end the season with the Brawl because coaching motivation is less of an issue in that game.
