...75.....do us all a favor.....and start a blog......I will ask the mods.....if you can post links....on the board....that way......we can all ignore......"random thoughts of 75"......without having to.......scroll forever.......

75...keep it up. Your posts are much more informative and enjoyable to read, rather than the random thoughts & bs trolls line grizinthebox like to post.

Thank you for being one of the good ones on this board.
YUP..

biggest disappointment isn't necessarily the losses but that the team seems to be regressing. The offense sputters from hot to cold. Defense seems to be stuck in reverse. Special teams show little to no improvement. Play calling seems odd.
Re-reading Stitt's interviews about the NDSU(2) game last year, which at least one national commentator called "delusional," there is a problem here, and the poster that called it the "smartest guys in the room" syndrome may have nailed it. The team doesn't get better and more disciplined with the progressing season. The snowflakes are all claiming "youth and inexperience" and "just wait till Stitt gets his recruits," but the fact is, by those theories, the Griz are getting younger and more inexperienced with the passage of time.

And you know its true when the Coach repeatedly states to the media that the team is playing "flat," without "enthusiasm," that it "lacks intensity," that he hopes that "some of these guys get it," and that the team "lacks fire" and that is has "been that way for a while." Never heard a coach put it that way before. And this isn't a bunch of disgruntled, hard-to-please fans saying that about these Griz players and this team, IT'S THE FRICKIN' COACH!

It's been a long time since the outcome of the Griz-Cat game offered bragging rights to who wasn't at the bottom of the Conference, but here we are.

He is currently playing with HIS guys now!

Actually, false.

Agreed. He's had two recruiting classes correct? So wouldn't anyone that's a redshirt sophomore or older (not counting current transfers or drop down's) not be one of "Stitt's guys"?

Coaching quotes aside, the Griz obviously AREN'T getting younger and more experienced, but the opponents most CERTAINLY have gotten more difficult. I guess we could have asked them to schedule EWU, NAU and UNC at the beginning of the season and started out 0-4, then win the last 7 against the easy teams to make everyone feel better?

Odd that our opponents late in the season don't seem to have the same problem.

Good teams get better. That's the rule. Coach Klieman offered us a lesson in that last year. Remember?

Recall that time Stitt talked down their red-shirt freshman, second string Quarterback? Precisely on the grounds of his "youth and inexperience?" The one that beat us?

Ah yes, Montana. This was going to be especially dicey for NDSU because the Big Sky Conference team beat four-time defending champ NDSU 38-35 in Missoula in August. It was Montana's Super Bowl, and head coach Bob Stitt acted as much after that contest by declaring his program all the way back.

What transpired at the dome looked more like Robert Morris or New Hampshire or Furman came to town again.

"You don't win national championships in August," Klieman said after Saturday's game. "You win the suckers in December."

The lopsided score may have come as a surprise to many, and probably did to Stitt. The confident coach made some curious comments earlier in the week when asked whether the Bison had an advantage over the Griz because of all the NDSU playoff experience the last several years.

Interesting. Bob Stitt was applying for other jobs as early as 2003.

My god, when Stitt gets his new contract next year, we really have to listen to this from 75 all the way through 2019????? And yet, he somehow claims he doesn't have an agenda against Stitt lol.

Anyone feel good about giving up over 40 to ISU? Anyone besides me watch the EWU game and wonder why we were playing man press coverage with no help over the top on Kupp? Anyone wonder if Kupp was a revelation to the DC in that game? Does everyone in the league now know there is going to be several bubble screens to JLM each game? Anyone wonder what the record for missed extra-points in one season in the Big Sky is for a season? Just some of the random thoughts I have had over the last few weeks. Many more.
As I said on MB, I never want to lose to the Cats. It is always a must win. However, I am not sure missing the playoffs is a bad thing. Barely making it validates a mediocre season in some peoples minds. I would prefer the last year of the contract to have all the cards on the table. Coaching for a contract extension. Just my opinion.

Stitt. Contract. 2019.

How depressing.

No, they don't. Because the late season opponents are BETTER TEAMS THAN US. Thanks for making my point for me. If we backloaded our schedule to "get better" through the season would that make people feel better?

My God, you pedalled Stitt's hyperbole as fast as your little word processor tricycle would carry you; setting Griz Nation up for what has, so far, turned into a shit show of the Coach publicly badmouthing his team right and left. And you are already proclaiming this needs to go on through 2019?

Just to salvage a reputation you never earned? Isn't that the problem here? Isn't that YOUR agenda?

Yes his guys are coming but I don't sense a change in the style of play and there in lies the rub.

Almost ALL of this is cured with a better performing O-line. All the skill players in the world don't do you any good if you don't have time to get them the ball....I believe the next two years will see significant improvement in the O-line, and thus the team performance--especially in the Red Zone....
Maybe if he brings back tight ends. He won't and the offensive line will struggle. Not sure if there are any other teams without tight ends. I was really optimistic about Stitt but after this season all hope is lost.

.....ahhhhh.....how cute.....a "pat 75 on the back"......circle jerk......

75 is either the biggest troll or the dumbest person on this board. I'm sure he got banned a few weeks back but his presence brings little to this board but useless walls of text where he argues heavily his opinion and then claims to "not have an opinion."

I've seen it happen like 3 times already and now he is on a Stitt hate train. It gets old quick.

He's constantly abusive to posters such as you and me but it's cool to the mods

I rarely comment on your posts, mostly because of a conservation of energy approach to spending that much time trying to figure out what you are saying. When I do comment, it is only because of obvious howling errors, such as claiming that you have friends, a proposition too ridiculous to even fathom.

In the "abuse" department, I am surprised you claim to be the victim; the orphan pleading for mercy after killing her parents because, after all, she is now an orphan.

Never give up hope. That is all there is, right now.

The Griz...Lost...to Northern Colorado.

It's not realistic to think anyone is going through a BSC schedule undefeated (kudus to EWU). But, when the Griz, needing a win to stay in the playoff hunt, lose to Northern Colorado...

We need a change.
