You do realize Big G and all his AKAs say certain things just to see the reaction. If you don't respond, then he will say something even more out there. If you ignore him, he will eventually go away...I hope. His cry for attention really is bizarre.

Side note, I quit reading anything he writes some time ago. I am assuming based on some of your comments nothing has changed, but if he has been more coherent, then I will apologize to him for what I have written above.

This thread is cracking me up. I put lil g on my ignore (or is it called foe here in egriz) list many months ago. He earned a spot on my sh list after two or three name calling incidents. I think I have eight or nine posters on the list. And with each new idiot added to the list my enjoyment of egriz grows immensely.

So on to the posted topic, I will look forward to hearing what he has to say. So far I have not read or heard enough of Stitt, and my worry is he might be full of ...........himself.

Can anyone recap what Stitt had to say to some of the questions? I wasn't able to tune in to the show until 30 seconds before the end of it...
 
Stitt mentioned that the prior staff did a great job of recruiting up to his hire. He said that when he came in they only needed to make a few recruiting adjustments for the offense. He said they are looking for another o-lineman and they want a couple more receivers. He mentioned they expect to play 8 receivers a lot with backups expecting to get about 40 reps a game. I have previously heard him state they want to play 10 receivers a game. He mentioned that we already have a RB in the recruiting class which I wasn't fully aware of yet. I suppose this could be Tyler Davis, the Wisconsin kid listed as a CB/RB on page 1 of our recruits.

There was a GSA Board Meeting the other day and I have heard nothing but incredible feedback about Stitt. Fans that weren't necessarily on board with his hire are saying they are all in with Stitt after listening to him and his philosophy. I am very excited about this hire.

Stitt also mentioned he wants to run 100 to 150 plays a game, more is better. If some of the dupes that were against this hire are still thinking bad stitt then little hope is available for them.

The hire of Bob Stitt is the greatest thing to happen to Griz football since Don (air) Read. Get your season tickets because this will be great fun and excitement to enjoy and watch!

I tuned in right in the middle of that little debacle. Man was that ever awkward. Apparently, they either do not hold production meetings pre-air, or Peter is in charge of them. Stitt played along pretty gracefully, but you could tell there was probably some eye rolling on his end of the line. Then for a little cherry on top, Pete goes full-retard and belts it out solo.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's already said in multiple other interviews they want to run around 90 and that the average is around 65 or something like that.

I think he said that he wants to run 90 plays a game...150 is unfathomable...have you ever watched football?
 
I missed it, sounds like it was disappointing.

As for the number of plays. Assuming both offenses can average 20 seconds to run plays, that is 3 plays per minute x 60 minutes= 180 total plays.

1. How often will we match up with another team to average that pace with us?
2. Can the GRIZ average less than 20 seconds per play?
3. Even if the GRIZ can control the ball 60% of the game, that would be roughly 108 offensive plays.

Sorry, realistically speaking, I cannot see the GRIZ running more than 90 plays per game, most games. Most opponents will not want to play that fast of a game. The only way we average over 100 offensive plays per game is if our defense totally dominates.
 
Said CSM had one drive that was 24 plays in around 5 minutes..... Think on that for awhile.


I think he said goal is 80 plays per game, but that they have had 110 in some of their games at CSM. Not sure where the 150 number came from.

And yes the fight song lesson was the worst thing I can remember ever listening to, ever. Ever.
