Bobby Hauck was a terrific coach. It sounds like Bob Stitt was and will be a terrific coach. It's a tough call when the University of Montana has such highly qualified people to consider, but it is a testament to the "program" itself. I would liked to have seen Bobby back, but I can't find anything to criticize about the choice made. Sometimes, when you are blessed with choices, you have to roll the dice and maybe you can't go wrong ...

This is the truth! Bobby was great - Brent Pease would've been a great hire too. Griz Pony was a big fan of Brent but you don't see him on EGriz dissing Stitt. Why? Because GrizPony is a Griz fan first and foremost. He is hoping for nothing but the best for Stitt, I would guess.

btw - I don't think Big G is Alpha. Alpha was clever in his posts - it's obvious that Big G is just Big in his body - not in his IQ. and I know Big G is much more a Bobby Hauck fan than he is a Griz fan. - just read the vitriol spewing from his little brain.

I wasn't saying he's not a great coach, probably best coach ever for the Griz. I could be wrong, but from what I was told, not very professional some of the things he did when he left. I would have loved for him to be our coach now, but also very happy with Stitt, lets give him a chance. Seems like a high energy, good morales, think outside of the box type of coach.
Time will tell.

With sod from his own farm. It was built in 1909 from his own hands, and his son who is now 33 helped him. His Dad, a recent UM graduate in 2003, at age 16 also helped during summers. In the fall his Dad was playing football with his buddies from 1982.

I don't mean to troll in any way, but Oregon's performance last night was classic of Hauck teams. Dominate all year and then play tight in the championship. I wish it was different, and I loved how dominate we were during those years, but that is what happened.
