Wow, a frothing and foaming denunciation. I am pleased that objective remarks get you so riled up. The coach said something. I reported only that the players that I have heard comment on it have been saying something like the same thing. There is simply a convergence of opinion between the coach and the team that the "fire"" isn't quite there. I have no particular "opinions" on it, but according to the coach, "it's there." Go after the coach if you don't like the observation. But you seem to be fighting reality with as many adjectives and ad hominem remarks as your tiny dictionary can muster.

From that you get "voice of the Griz or the Griz Players," and "attempting to undermine team unity?" "Mental state?" "Rotten tree?" What do really think when the coach says "the fire isn't there?"

It is an interesting conceit that you try to identify with coach Stitt. It is not just an interesting Narcissism, but it in some ways explains your obvious extreme frustration when he says something that you cannot accept from your hero. See "identification" as a defense mechanism.

The fact is, after all of your bluster, indignation and name-calling, the coach actually did say something about team morale. I reported that the players I have heard on the subject have been saying the same thing. There is nothing remarkable about the fact that, if true, both players and coaches would notice it.

Except to you, for whatever reasons that don't appear to have anything actually to do with either the coach's observations or the player's agreement with it, but rather your determinations of what you prefer, and who you think represents "the Griz."
