You don't think ND and MSU will be tough conference games? I do.

or davis?! :o

you guys just lost to Portland state at home and he thinks you only have one tough conference game remaining.....

Hard to argue with that. PSU is a bad team and the Griz played horribly. Fumbles, blocked punts, overthrown balls, missed blocks, dropped passes are how horrible teams get the moniker. The Griz were the worst team in the conference last week. Fortunately, it was an anomaly and unlike PSU, the Griz don't play that way each week. A focused, well played game on Saturday will result in a win.

I really think cal davis is the only real tough one left and we get them at home. My wife and all her family graduated from und and most live in and around GF and follow und with a magnifying glass and they think they are toast this week. If MSU did not lose Murray this year we would have been in a bit of trouble but they did and I am not worried about them. Like I said in another post as soon as we beat und people will say "oh und is not a quality win"
last year we played EWU, NAU, Weber, ISU and MSU with Murray so yes I think last year was a lot tougher.

This is a much easier schedule this year than last year. No UW, EWU, Weber State, NIU.
Apparently this should be an even better team than last year. Bob Almighty upgraded at QB,RB,DE and secondary.

Oh, BS. That's not true at all. He was hired to return the Griz to or towards dominance, over the next several years.

And no, the schedule is not much easier this year. No NIU? What's that?

Cats, PSU and ND are better this year. Non-conference games are tougher this year.

“NAU” but I am sure you know that was a spell check.

The conference schedule is extremely easier than last year. Not sure how you can say the OOC is my easier this year. Really? A pioneer team and two games against the bottom feeders of the MVC that have a combined 4-6 record?

Stop with the oline crap. They didn’t turn the ball over 4 times, drop passes, throw INT’s or complete 30 percent of their passes against PSU.
The Griz had almost 170 yards rushing at 5 yards a pop in the game. 2 of the 3 sacks were on the QB.

Also stop with the “you can’t win with 4 turnovers”. PSU turned it over 3 times. That’s minus one. Pretty even.

In last years loss to Weber we were minus 4 in turnovers. That’s a game where you can say TO’s killed us.

No, I didn't know what you were talking about. NIU, in a year we played Northern Iowa University, means NIU, not NAU.

NIU and WI are not bottom feeders. Look who they have played. I've already posted who they played. Losses to the likes Iowa, Illinois, NDSU, and are EWU are not bad losses. Your "analysis" is so shallow that it is worthless.

Sorry, but I'm not just going to accept your ill-informed and unsupported opinions/views. Do some homework.

The playoff team from the Pioneer team has beaten the Big Sky team in the playoffs two years in a row. U San Diego beat NAU 42-10 last year in the playoffs. In 2017, U San Diego beat Cal Poly in the playoffs 35-21. Make your no "NIU"/NAU comment combined with your Pioneer conference comments look pretty stupid. Drake has lost one game and is leading the Pioneer this year.

4 or 5 turnovers, combined with a punt return for TD or a blocked punt, is not 3 turnovers. Don't be so stupid. If UM eliminate one turnover or one of the punt glitches in the 2 losses, they probably win the games.

Except, it is the University of Northern Iowa, UNI, and they gave NDSU a strong run for their money last weekend which, could have made the Griz look even better and is another reason the loss to PSU sucked.

UND fans think they're toast because a team that has serious problems at O Line, is starting a player at Center that's never started, just lost to the worst team in the league (at home), is coming to town to play against a good or great team that has one of the best defenses in the conference?

I was very disappointed over the weekend and earlier this week. But, like every other week, I'm now getting excited for Saturday. Any logical criticism of the team is beginning to go in one ear and out the other. I think we are going to go into Grand Forks and burn that f***[*] corn palace to the ground. I can't explain it, but the Griz are the only sports team that could lose by 50 to Rocky and still have me thinking we have a puncher's chance against the Packers seven days later. Not sorry 'bout it.

I'm with you - on the same swaggerwagon to Swaggertown. I like it in here. The plush maroon seats are very cozy and the Jell-O shots are to die for.

Go Griz.

Which conference? I thought this was a conference game against a non-conference member for one team, and a non-conference game against a conference member for the other team, and a non-member conference against a game for the third team.

Shit like this never happened Engstrom was in charge.

How would you know which plays would have changed the game? You said you didn’t watch it.

Fact 1 the schedule is easier this year
Fact 2 Montana lost the turnover margin by 1
Fact 3 Drake is NOT San Diego
Fact 4 UNI is not that good. They lost to a team that just lost at home to a team that just won their 1st game in 2 years.

And lastly, you mean to say PState had a Punt return TD against Bobby Almighty, the self proclaimed Special teams guru?

I did my research. PState beat Montana in:

1st downs
Rushing yards
Passing yards
TOP
3rd down conv PSU 55% UM 16%

Just face it Montana was out played in every faze of the game at home by the worst team on their schedule.

And according to all the bobby phanatics like you who have posters of Bobby in a banana hammock hanging on their bedroom wall right next to the Jergens and Kleenex, this team is better than last years with upgrades at QB, RB, DE and secondary.

Bobby Almighty did inherit talent but he didn’t inherit a NC caliber team like he did in his 1st stint here. He actually has to build one. Last I checked, his only attempt at building a team(UNLV) didn’t go to well.

I know, I know Facts hurt when they don’t fit your agenda

Based on the previous performance, i see The Griz going win less throughout the balance of the season. Very Sad to say.

First, Growler, is that you?

Second, anyone who knows anything about football knows that turnovers kill a team's chances to win, as do blocked punts and punt or KO returns (going the wrong way). Surprised you don't know that.

Third, I know, because I talked to some of the coaches, including Bobby.

Fourth, I don't agree that this year's schedule is easier than last year. As I said, do some homework and analysis. Losing to Iowa, NDSU and UM doesn't make UNI a bad team. Losing to Illinois, Ill St. and MSU doesn't make WI a bad team. If WI loses to NDSU this weekend, will you be telling us that WI is now 2-4 and even worse than you thought? Don't be stupid. We shall see how they do the rest of the season.

Fifth, no PSU did not have a punt return against UM. PSU blocked a punt. Obviously, you didn't watch the game, or even read about it.

Sixth, how much do you want to bet that the Griz will be way better in year 3, than they were in Stitt's last 2 years?

I suggest getting a live. It's just football.
