STATS FCS Poll, Nov 20 ( Griz #02)

Interesting “final” poll, but not that relevant since it’s the playoff bids and seeds that really matter at this point. Couple of amusing oddities: UC Davis moved back into the top-25, even though they didn’t get a bid. Also, Yale beat Harvard for the Ivy League title, but Harvard got more votes from the pollsters. :)

Quite the disparity between the seedings and the poll. I can see the coach’s poll being closer to this poll than the seedings. Of course, the poll doesn’t deal with automatic bids, so that’s understandable.

Bump ... Possible merge to capture the few comments?

I think NDSU could be under ranked and very dangerous in the playoffs. They seem to be similar to the Griz. Starting to play their best football in November. Would not be surprised if we see them in the semis. AND how about Sac State likely dropping another 1st round game. Simply embarrassing if they do after they got in over UCD.

Semis with NDSU,
Bring back Brent Musburger, Jesse Palmer and ESPN.
2015 FCS Kickoff was some of the best national exposure the Griz have ever got, and what a game.

While I would LOVE that (having been at the 2015 game), NDSU was 2-2 on the road and lost to every other Dakota team….I don’t think they’re coming out of that bracket.

Only thing that could have been better would’ve been scoring the winning touchdown in the North Endzone where I was.

That was pre-season tickets for me, and I WAS in the SEZ, with Counts running RIGHT AT ME…I lost my shit, jumped up and down and stomped on a pair of $250 sunglasses, smacked the head of the little NDSU fan (10 years old) in front of me with my elbow and about knocked him out…good times…
