Won’t post my reason because somebody here will decide I need to defend my opinion. I don’t “need” to, they jus devolvet want that. Kick rocks.

Yeah it's funny how fast things devolve. I think the majority (myself included) enjoy hearing other's opinions without feeling the need to attack them, but the few that are combative ruin it for everybody.

I just wanted to know the answer to my question to you. I wanted to know if you were actually following the Griz o-line. I wasn’t arguing. You were so defensive that you started jumping me when I asked you a question. You didn’t even know which poster had made the comment that you didn’t agree with. And now you can’t admit you were wrong. And you continue to be your dick self. But this is how you have posted for years.
Well if anyone knows dicks...

AhYat throws the best ball and its easily catchable usually on time or his anticipation puts it out there before you are where you are supposed to be.

Fife has the best arm strength and throws a decent deep ball

I don't want a QB who throws an easily catchable ball. Pretty soon your receivers just expect good throws and stop concentrating. And then what do you get? Lollygaggers.

From me, only to people who are dicks or deserve it. Like you. And at least I understand football and have access to good info. You can’t even read a post. And can’t remember who said what.

Skip had a good whole rant about this in Bull Dunham I believe.

  • Skip : You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!

    Larry : Lollygaggers!

    Skip : Lollygaggers.

I think we are really going to miss Cliff's ability to get some tough yards when we really needed them thus keeping drives alive. Big, strong kid who was hard to bring down. Maybe, with improved o-line performance, a better passing qb, and our very good running backs and tight ends, we can make up for the lack of Big Cliff. I hope so. Like so many, I can see the coaches splitting reps until one of them takes the reins. Who steps up in critical situations, makes the right read, makes the right decisions when plays break down, etc. One of them will. Can't wait!

Go Griz!

Not arguing with your take. Cliff was great, until he wasn’t. He actually had some very good throws against NDSU, but his scrambling didn’t get it done against SDSU. Was he injured after the hit that flipped him? Possibly. I would rather have a bunch of plow horses up front and a stable of running backs, with an All American type tight end. Don’t forget all the weapons at receiver this year, but with more experience under their belt. My point, Cliff was only one player. Balance is what it will take to win the chipper. I think the Griz have that balance this year. I am also very optimistic about the QB situation and believe all three can scramble when needed. Going to be a fantastic year.

Very good post and analysis. I agree on all points. I think the O will be better and probably much better than last year. I too like McDowell for what he did during the season after he got going, and got the O going. I wish McDowell had stayed, but I also think the QB situation has a chance to be better this year. Perhaps more consistent. I liked that Pease seemed to have enough confidence in the rest of the O, to say that the QB's didn't have to feel any pressure and could just get the ball to the experienced playmakers. As you were saying.
