I asked you first. I'll respond after you do. This is about your comment, not any comment of mine. I knew you didn't know what you were talking about and couldn't defend your comment. You haven't even see the o-line practice or talked to the coach. You are just a no-nothing blowhard.

Again, Tommy is a great runner, weak passer, and missed a number of games last season and the season before. Didn’t play in 3 games last season and was hurt in others. Not a diss like your BS.

Many like myself compliment Tommy frequently.

Fife is good and has started multiple FBS games. 11-12 against USC is pretty good,
don’t you think. 70% passing is very good.

Let’s see how big you are talking about your first game.

When are you going to start making excuses because some of your all-world o-line is injured? How many games until Mellott gets hurt?
Tommy went 12 for 16, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 8.7 yard per rush, against a great NDSU defense last year in the last game of the season when Sean was hurt and Tommy had the game to himself. He's not a "weak passer" but you're welcome to your opinion! We'll see how that first game plays out, I know you're on record saying the Cats will lose. It could happen, we'll see. Hopefully the Cats can weather all the early season injuries along the OL as you pointed out... I think they can. Vigen is good at building depth, especially on the OL.

My answer is your opinion is no better than my opinion unless you have watched every other FCS team practice this fall. Odds are in my favor that they won't be the best, but as I stated, they don't have to be, they only need to be among the top OL for the Griz to have success. It is crazy that you can crown them without seeing anyone else, but like they say, opinions are like assholes.....

I haven't expressed an opinion. I asked you a question. I didn't crown anyone with anything. Can you not read? Man, you are out to lunch. Go read the posts and then come back and apologize. You have never been a good or consistent poster, but man you are off base on this.

Mellott is, or has been, a weak passer. Jeez, everyone can see it. He's very inconsistent. I know from Big Sky coaches that the strategy against the Cats has been to slow the run and force the Cats to pass. Are you thinking his first half passing and game against the Griz last fall showed he was a good passer? If you do, you know even less about football than I thought. And I think you know little about football.

It's interesting that you tout his stats in a loss.

Just your opinion man.

For any of you that have been going to practice, if you can, can you let us know about the RBs. I can guess that Eli and Nick are getting the most reps, but who's up after those 2?

Just your opinion man.
Did you look to confirm I didn’t express an opinion on the o-line? Or are you to lazy, or too stubborn to admit it?

Yes, my opinion, which is correct, that you an inconsistent and weak poster. If you want, I can start pointing out your weak stuff. Let me know.

He can make your passing game work when your running game is humming and he can rely on easy reads and play action, but, as you saw last year against us, when he needs to be that pure, dropback passing QB, that's not who he is. He is not good enough as a pure passer to do that. He can barely process more than one read unless the concept is super simple.

But he doesn't need to do that in order to be a great QB for the cats. It's not a diss to accurately say what he's good at vs. what he's not. If you poled every BSC DC in the conference, every one would tell you that their game plan is to force Tommy to pass more. Clifton McDowell was slightly better at it, but not really enough to win a game if the run game wasn't working. Both were pretty damn good QBs last year for their respective teams and offenses.

The bolded is an opinion. And even if you talked to the coaches and have watched every rep of practice, you thinking they are the best is your opinion. Every take on the subject is an opinion.

I have never said or thought the o-line was the best. You have the wrong poster. I was not talking about myself. I was talking about you.You are an idiot. Learn how to read.

So you don't disagree, but just want to argue? Talk about being an idiot. Kudos on that logic.
I just wanted to know the answer to my question to you. I wanted to know if you were actually following the Griz o-line. I wasn’t arguing. You were so defensive that you started jumping me when I asked you a question. You didn’t even know which poster had made the comment that you didn’t agree with. And now you can’t admit you were wrong. And you continue to be your dick self. But this is how you have posted for years.

With all due respect Jack, more than half this board has called Mellott a RB that can’t pass. If that’s not a diss on a QB, idk what is.
I don't think it's a diss. That is the nature of their offense...remember TA? I also don't recall any or many saying he can't pass. I think we all agree it hasn't been his strength.

I could definitely see that comparison, but I don't think Fife is as fast. Sneed was honestly one of the fastest QBs we've ever had.

Ugh, I just imagined Sneed in this offense and got real sad lol
I legit believe that if sneed had been the QB. last season we would probably have another national title trophy. If he were the QB this season we’d probably be the favorite to win it this season. That guy did so much with so little. Best QB by far of Haucks second stint so far

I heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend, who
heard it from another, that the are gonna fly in Brian Ah Yat, shoehorn him into a #8 jersey, oozing out at the stitches, and POOFFF!, deja vu all over again. Yes, 'Ah Yat' will play.

Won’t post my reason because somebody here will decide I need to defend my opinion. I don’t “need” to, they just want that. Kick rocks.
