Totally agree but the university might not be bold enough to stand up to him. Just posting as an FYI

I believe that was a request if I heard right live. AFAIK no law has been passed giving him such authority yet.

Ah good to know. It was not real clear when he was speaking. I know he is mandating the vaccine for all companies with 100 employees or more through OSHA

 Don't want to do politics, but this was too low-hanging.

I imagine some of his mandates will be challenged in court. To be fair our recent chief execs of both tribes have tended to over reach first and asked questions later.

A lot of "required" in that link from a wishful dictator, but the football stadium is below. "calling on".

"Calling on Large Entertainment Venues to Require Proof of Vaccination or Testing for Entry
The President’s plan calls on entertainment venues like sports arenas, large concert halls, and other venues where large groups of people gather to require that their patrons be vaccinated or show a negative test for entry."

I don't believe so.

That raises another question, though: Has there been any change to the snake policy at WaGRIZ?
Officially allowed this season

He can't mandate anything, that violates the 10th Amendment. The Libs love to preach about how they love the Constitution, though. Every single time they speak, like the abortion issue in Texas... "The Republicans are violating the Constitution"... Uhhhh No.

The mandates for private employers will be in courts longer than Covid 19 exists... Covid 23 will exist of course. Then again, the Supreme Court could strike it down whenever they want, or Obama could just put the requirement in the Budget Bill that's 4800 pages.

Two things, 1 what do they consider a pocket knife? I always leave mine so I don’t get screwed with but I didn’t realize there was an exception. 2 I bet I can find some jnco jeans from my unfortunate childhood that say any knife is a pocket knife.

The Supreme Court has ruled on this previously, so it will take some serious legal action to change course. But it does appear the individual state may have the final say.
“Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905), was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The Court's decision articulated the view that individual liberty is not absolute and is subject to the police power of the state.”

I like our chances of remaining sane at the State level.

The 10th amendment to the constitution is also decisively clear in it.

Yep. Sanity will remain probably for a long time.

KNOW BEFORE YOU #GOGRIZ: The University of Montana will be operating at normal capacity for Saturday's game, with no mask or vaccination requirements for entry to Washington-Grizzly Stadium. However, there are several new fan experience improvement items this season that people will want to note before heading off to the stadium that evening.
