Spring Game?

How cool would this be?
Have the spring game at naranche stadium in Butte. It’s the best HS stadium in the state (I don’t think that is up for debate) with a great up-town location and lots of bars within walking distance. Butte is the most accessible city in MT and is centrally located at the intersection of MT’s two interstate highways. A day trip for the team and most of the state.
Here’s the best part: St Paddy’s day is on Thursday and the spring game could be Friday night. Next year would be Fri/Sat.
I realize it is a bit of a pipe dream due to timing and weather but you can imagine the potential. The population of Butte doubles that weekend.
And the weather in Missoula for that last spring game was downright awful anyway. Seriously like the coldest game I’ve ever attended in WaGriz, and that’s saying something, but I will admit I was a little off my game that day and did not expect it and did not dress appropriately.

A cold day in Missoula is boardshorts weather in Butte because they are TOUGH. The coldest winter I've ever experienced was a summer in Butte. My nose gets hard just crossing the county line.

Butte would be a great location for the Spring Game. Butte people would be very supportive with strong attendance.

Boardshorts? You mean cargo’s or cutoffs?

Yes, my bad.
Zip-off the lower legs on your cargos weather.

I did not do a good job of making my point.
I’m not arguing Butte over some other city straight up. I’m arguing for St Paddy’s day. The timing might only work out once every 5 or 6 years, but it would break spring game attendance records and pretty much be the most epic party ever. I think the parade basically ends at the stadium.
Yes I realize the schedule is about a month too early, but a guy can dream, can’t he?

I lived in Butte so realize it is a football town. There are many other excellent locations for the game. Attendance doesn’t seem to be important. More the scenery and a good site for a barbecue.
