Spring Game recap

Johnson threw the ball well... I just hope he keeps the ball more on the read options, since it looked like he had some avenues to gain yards. McKinney is quick, but he still has that side-armed delivery that we saw in his high school videos. You'd have thought the coaches would have gotten his motion higher in the past year. Overall, a decent exhibition... but it kind of reminded me of the NFL Pro Bowl. Soft zones and touch tackling (like scrimmages are supposed to be!) The wideouts definitely have some good hands and man-oh-man do we have some big trees on the O-line.

Did we break the FCS scrimmage attendance record?

I heard UM did break the record for most pitchforks and torches at an NCAA event. It was confirmed by the Guiness Book of World Records.

I think you forgot to add the tar and feathers. Can't have a mob mentality without that too.

Damned witch hunt.

Welp...it's official, at least the first time I read about it...

Montana scrimmage sets FCS spring attendance mark
Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - The University of Montana's spring football game last Saturday set a Football Championship Subdivision attendance record with 8,731 fans, the Big Sky Conference school announced Wednesday.

The 92-play scrimmage was played under the new lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

The Grizzly Scholarship Association raised about $50,000 through the scrimmage, with all of the proceeds going toward UM's Athletic Facility Improvement Project.

The scrimmage showcased interim head coach Mick Delaney, who has replaced Robin Pflugrad after the university's recent investigation into alleged sexual assaults off campus, some involving football players.

addison owen and trent mckinney already show greatness..........these guys are my future picks
i can see owen's savvy of the game and how he reads the qb and movement of the line, once he gets up to speed this guy will be a standout
mckinney has it all, the read, the throw, the scramble and sense....when he gets his rhythm down and feels comfortable throwing.....watch out........this guy is going to be exciting to watch.
