Didn't Fynn Ridgeway play QB @ Morehead? Might be an interesting competition besides.Curious about the QB battle this off-season, I'm personally kind of hyped for Jensen, the kid from USC.

Ridgeway played either RB or CB at Moorhead St but not qb. Excited to see what he can do for Griz, super athletic kid.Didn't Fynn Ridgeway play QB @ Morehead? Might be an interesting competition besides.
Well if that's true, he definitely doesn't stay anywhere very long. Which is a concern, was he fired from those jobs or quit? Hopefully not toxic. One positive would be he has to have a lot of connections.I believe his name is Cameron Norcross
He was with Kennesaw state last year and I think they had the worst FBS offense out of 134 FBS teams, I hope he proves us wrong but I’m not feeling really good about this hire.Well if that's true, he definitely doesn't stay anywhere very long. I know nothing about the guy, but Kennesaw state's lack of production shouldn't alarm us. They weren't dominant at fcs level and probably shouldn't have moved up (from a competitive stand point). Again, I'm hoping we hit a home run, or at minimum a B+ with this particular hire!He was with Kennesaw state last year and I think they had the worst FBS offense out of 134 FBS teams, I hope he proves us wrong but I’m not feeling really good about this hire.
Well to be fair there probably weren’t a lot of options this late in the offseason so the fact that we got anyone with this much experience I think is a positive. Plus he was only at KSU one year so I’m not sure how much blame he deserves for that in a first year FBS transition. And Kennesaw runs the triple option which is notorious for having low scoring offenses. He was with Kennesaw state last year and I think they had the worst FBS offense out of 134 FBS teams, I hope he proves us wrong but I’m not feeling really good about this hire.

Good pickup on short notice.Norcross has huge experience and would be a great-get. Before Kennesaw:
"Cameron Norcross joins UNLV after four seasons in the SEC as offensive line coach for Vanderbilt. He went to Nashville after serving four years at Fresno State that included three bowl trips, including the Bulldogs’ 11-2 season in 2013 that ended with a Las Vegas Bowl appearance. Previously, Norcross served an 11-year stint at his alma mater, UNR, helping the Wolf Pack to seven consecutive bowl appearances from 2005-11. Starting his coaching career as a GA there, he was hired as the tight ends and co-offensive line coach in 2003 and was promoted to run-game coordinator and OL coach in 2010."
At Fresno: "Cameron Norcorss is in his fourth season at Fresno State serving as the Bulldogs' offensive line coach. He was hired on Jan. 20, 2012.
Norcross' lines have been the backbone of the offensive explosion at Fresno State. They have allowed the Bulldogs to put up 500 or more yards of offense 18 times and also scored 40 or more points 18 times over the past three seasons. The highlight there was a school record 822 yards of offense in a 2013 69-28 win over New Mexico."
An interesting career arc: UNR/Fresno State/Vanderbilt/UNLV/Kennesaw State/Mary Hardin BaylorEven if that is his forte, I would consider it lucky we got someone with his level of experience on such short notice. Hopefully translates to success
We’ll take him!The kid isn't on the Memphis roster. https://gotigersgo.com/sports/football/roster?sort=name
He was a starter for last game of KS season, and probably more. 6'2", 285.
That could be part of the offensive struggles then. Cal Poly’s still struggling in their transition away from the triple option. They moved away from the triple option in their FBS transitional year, they ran a "Multiple" style offense it looks like from some quick glimpses on YouTube highlights:
"Norcross comes to UMHB after a season at Kennesaw State University, where he helped the Owls to the first two Football Bowl Subdivision in program history. Norcross coached at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas from 2020-21 as the Rebels' offensive line coach, securing the second-highest rated recruiting class in the Mountain West Conference."Norcross has huge experience and would be a great-get. What's not done about it?
Scoop is announcing it, not a done deal but obviously has traction
Football scoop is not an official announcement. I just caveated it. I'm sure it's as good as done, but not official. I didn't see him at practice when I was there on Monday... phen was running o linemen. What's not done about it?
Weird hired February 2025 at Mary Hardin Baylor and now here."Norcross comes to UMHB after a season at Kennesaw State University, where he helped the Owls to the first two Football Bowl Subdivision in program history.
