Of course we were saying that. We just made a trip to the semis and were 3 points away from the NC. Then we lost our head coach and quarterback, thus the 2012 season.

So, kind of like EWU? I'll give the Griz their props, they've done what they were supposed to do so far this year. Can't argue with 3-0. Only problem is, there is a team ready to compete with the Griz every single year now. And that team isn't intimidated by WGS, the history of the Griz, or the past success. October 26th will be here soon enough, and I'll let THE PLAYERS determine who the best Big Sky team is this season! :thumb:

there is a team ready to compete with the Griz every single year now. And that team isn't intimidated by WGS, the history of the Griz, or the past success.

The Cats were decent with McGhee, but I don't think they can compete without him. Their stadium addition/plan definitely gives them more cred (though, I hate the design), and they are getting a lot more fans at the games these days. Every single year, though? I still think they have a way to go.

I can't wait for that day. Its gonna be quite the weekend. Hank III on friday night followed by big game on Saturday.. There's a lot of competition next month!

I know that the NDSU victory over K State sure felt like a big upset in week 1, but looking ahead, who besides Iowa State and maybe Kansas, will the Wildcats be favored against? They could finish 4-8 this year.
This is no way means I don't think NDSU should be rated #1, they should be until anyone proves otherwise. In a few weeks, however, we may look back at the NDSU victory at K-State victory with a bit less awe.

Gottaluv, Yes, K-State may not be a Big 12 contender this year, but don't even come close to selling NDSU short on that win. K-State WON the Big 12 in 2012, IS A big 12 Team with 90-plus athletes worthy of a Big-12 Scholarship. It matters not how good they are in the Big 12 this year, they are still K-State, and to top it off, NDSU beat a Bill Snyder coached team in one of the toughest stadiums in the big 12. I could give a rats if K-State loses every game, NDSU's win was a thing of beauty and is rare. I'll bet you the next FCS opponent K-State plays, IF they even bother again, won't sniff them.

Let's not go the Bobcat Nation route and start trying to conjure up ways to point out how NDSU is something less than they are. Right now, THE BIZON are the TRUE FCS POWER. Will they be forever? No. But right now, they are The Bama' of the FCS.

Uh...The Griz have destroyed Appalachian St. and conference foe UND. As someone already mentioned, the Griz don't have to whore themselves out and lose to the likes of TOLEDO! :lol: :lol: :lol: Pride has NOTHING to do with it...the simple fact is EWho probably can't cut it financially in that eyesore that you call a stadium.
