Bottom line, those helmets are very slick. Kudos to MSU for going that route. I don't know what happened, but UM was going to go white helmets against South Dakota and Black helmets against the Cats. Didn't work out for whatever reason. Money I'm assuming. It's funny, we bitch and bitch and bitch about how MSU posters can never be objective on Egriz, and most of the time we're right. But the bottom line is, at least for me, objectively speaking, I'm loving the white helmet with the all white unis the Ctas are busting out. Good for them. In all honestly, I think of the Cats' now three helmets, the traditional gold one with the block M is by far the the one they should shelf. The blue one and white one are both sweet.
 
The white Boise State helmet is ok but the yellow cat script helmets they had for one game this season is the only thing that have ever made that turd look slightly respectable.

Oh, I was just thinking there was no way it was a camera. I guess it could have been. Maybe the photog cleaned the lens with sandpaper or something.

It is a beautifully composed shot as well. As those of you with the trained eye can clearly see, the haphazardly discarded cardboard boxes nicely frame the photo. And, in the background, two cat-o-nine tails hanging on the back wall leave the viewer wondering, ever so subtly , just who made the player don those ugly uniforms, and by what means...

Stunning really.

Haha! Seriously, I had not noticed the fact that this was clearly shot in a Bozeman garage. With clear indicia of BDSM artifacts, we have to wonder what else are they shooting there. The college dorm room wiring on the TV might also indicate the grassroots nature of that operation. Finally, if they don't wear pads, they're gonna have a bad time.

Totally. They should definitely go back to the high school style royal blue and yellow with the Cats script from yesteryear. Take some pointers from the only other State U. in the U.S. that rocks state's initials on their helmets.
 
Why the hell is UM so secretive about this uniform stuff? I understand why they kept it under wraps several years ago when they came out in the old copper and yellow, but nowadays I constantly see uniform pics showing up on twitter. Just in the past couple days I've seen EWU's all white look, USD's chrome combo and SDSU's all yellow. Why is it such a damn secret for the Griz?

Wait, didn't they already say what our unis will be? I agree with you in general, however. Gotta love how many people know who the next coach will be if he wants the job but can't say a name because their "sources" didn't clear it. Who gives a baker's fuck? It couldn't be out of fear that the info is actually wrong, could it?
