Kind of unfair to the cats. They can't even dress 100 players so how are they supposed to get all of Texas' counties on their helmets?

I think it is interesting that you arrogant griz fans still think the Cats are built from mostly TX and CA guys and the griz are built mostly from Montana kids. When in fact the Cats have won the in state recruiting for some time now. Actually it isn'teven close.

griz players from Mt... 23
Cats players from Mt.. 40

Guess you were too busy calling us all arrogant to actually count the number of players. I could generalize and call all cat fans idiots, but that would make me like you, so I will only call you an idiot.

My bad, the website I saw showed 23. Still does not justify why the griz still think they are all Montana kids and cats are all out of state kids. And I would love to see a 2 deep roster to see who plays more Mt kids when talking quality.

I don't suppose you'd cite that web site for us so we can let them know to update their information. I'd hate somebody to get the wrong count from some unbeknownst web site.

I would also like to know the website. Thanks in advance!

Ahh, I KNEW that was coming. Since Montana has more players from the state than you counted, than it turns into WHO'S starting. Well, since you asked, MSU's two-deep release for the Idaho State game, showed five starters from Montana, including Daly and Bolton. And a total of 15 players from Montana as either starters or backups. IN fairness, MSU lists four running backs on its 2-deep, while UM has cut its running backs down to two on its two-deep. Also, both of Tia's backups are from MT, but I see Barth has hardly played in the the last four weeks. But whatever, the Cats have 15 total players listed from MT on their most recent 2-deep.

Montana's most recent 2-deep ALSO lists 5 starters from the state of Montana. As for the entire 2-deep. 10 of the backups listed on UM's most recent 2-deep are also from Montana, SOOOOOOO that brings the Grizzlies' total to 15 players from Montana on their two-deep roster. I really SUCKED at math, but 15 and 15 seem like the SAME number to me :thumb:

Having said all that, and looking it all up, I have to actually say I don't give a rats ass. Unlike 4thcats and Monte, once a kid puts on a Griz uniform, they are FROM MONTANA.

I tried the gogriz website but when I looked it did not have where they were from. I guess you can't believe everything you read on the Internet.

I did not mean to make this a trash talk. I guess I should not have said arrogant griz fans. But it sure does seem that the cats get labeled as recruiting all CA TX players.. Just annoying... Like this week. Glad to have a discussion on here without being chased off. Thanks

Great post. I agree. I don't care where they come from either. But the perception in the publics eye is what bugs me I guess.

I don't think they are listing all the players. For instance, they list 24 from MT for MSU.

Oh, and by the way, the gogriz.com site has always listed where the players are from...

We have more players on the roster, scout team, more on the two deep, more starters, stars, etc. from MT than um does - any way you slice it. Didn't used to be that way a few years ago obviously.

Really? Because I just checked again and did not see it listed. Maybe it's because I am on a cell phone. If I knew how to post a screen shot, I would show you it's not listed. But it really does not matter really. It looks like the site I got the info from was incorrect.

You're right. On the mobile version, it doesn't list their hometown; on the full version it does. In any event, who cares? Time to settle it on the field.

The Gallitan County decal will be reserved for a helmet to be worn by an inspirational Special Olympics champion who will escort the cats out of their tunnel before the game. Pretty friendly gesture on our part, if you ask me.

Well then sign me up to buy that helmet and hopefully funds will go to support the Special Olympics. I have a special needs son and I've volunteered at the Special Olympics a few times. They're great people and it's a great cause. It doesn't deserve to be made fun of by a POS like you.

montana kids blah blah blah

A couple Fun Facts for cat-Griz week:
-Jordan Johnson has beat the sCats by a total score of 64-24 in his career.
-Since the opening of WaGriz in 1986, Montana has outscored the Cats 852-445.
-Since 1986, Montana is averaging 30.9 points per game and the Bobcats are averaging 15.9
-Cats have scored 30 points just twice in that time, both times in losses.

...boom

I'm interested to see the helmet logo compared to this one:

Well said Brint. I too have volunteered on several occasions and those are some of the best memories I have. I have several close friends whom have special needs children and they are amazing families. Looking forward to a good game on Saturday.

I'm hoping the Griz script and outline of Montana weren't drawn by a 6th grader on MS Paint, but we shall see.

God, you people are fucking pathetic.

Whoa, easy, Admiral! Are you telling me you think this looks good? I just want to know why HWY 310 and Tie Creek Road block out the borders. Also, what do you mean, "you people?"
