FYI - Samson Kalekini quit the team before fall camp, I'd assume he won't be back either.

I heard he was joining the team when school started this semester. Has that changed?

I posted this as well on the O-line thread about Samson. I read an article somewhere about fall camp that stated Kaleikini is not with the team now and that he would likely report at the beginning of school. It was in one of those small tidbits written on the bottom of the article, but I can't find it on either gogriz.com or the Missoulian now. I thought it was very strange that a backup guard wouldn't be at fall camp and I thought maybe he was recovering from injury.

Thanks, now I see it on my scrimmage roster. The real question is why he is delayed and will he return? I believe he has a bright future ahead of him. Hope he makes it back.

I know this might be a little premature but I am just so excited about the future of Montana football that I can't help myself. Don't be too critical of me. I know your all at least thinkin' about it also.

Hermanson will be a four year starter and Gamboa will be one if the most athletically gifted kids on the feild. Whitted, Gratton, and Dallaserra will add good depth.

Believe Samson is a redshirted sophomore so these aren't really applicable. I'm guessing it's either an injury issue, family matter, or other personal issue. Hope everything is fine and he returns soon.
