The entire coaching staff is over at my house watching NFL Sunday Ticket on my plasma's. They all agree that Peter fumbles a lot but is also very talented once the ball in his hands. Some of the coaches have really attractive girlfriends or wives. Alpha, Coach Delaney wants to know when your coming over for Sunday Funday.

See what happens when he makes a clean catch on the punt. I always find myself saying just catch it, just catch it, and then once he catches the punt I am yelling go go go. Glad to see him improving on his punt receiving I am sure he puts in plenty of time in practice on it. Did he get injured yesterday, or did they just decide to give Canada his carries?

ABQcat, try factoring out the Chadron State scrimmage and tell us where Delerious McGhee stands. he should ahve stood out against the much much lesser opponent of Chadron State. He has yet to face a really competitive team yet he is still running for his life almost every snap.

he's going to be "running for his life" all season then as about 85% of our passes are designed for him to "run for his life" out of the pocket. :thumb:

Not disagreeing too much other than to say the Chadron game wasn't good statistically at all. You talk factoring in that game, but pulling it out increases his numbers in every category. This was just my way of saying that I thought the whole "9th best QB" was a bunch of crap, particularly coming from you guys. These things are very transient and it was interesting how far he moved with just one good day.

true. but again that is because nearly all of our plays have him on the run. he rarely throws pics in the pocket because he rarely is in the pocket. he throws most of his pics on the run because he is always on the run.

TetonCat, actually there are quite a few cats players that I think are pretty decent it's just certain bobcats fans are obnoxious ( I know there are Griz fans that fit that description too.). My comments on cat players are really intended to bitch slap down those obnoxious cat fans and to p*ss em off. Hell I respect ILTC a lot for how he posts on here. I suspect I would enjoy visiting one on one with DM but I do dislike all the hype that has surrounded him. Right now he comes across as being msu football and I have friends whose kids play on that team too. Football is a team sport and he is only one of 11 on offense.
It would really be great if the Griz/cat communities could come to the same level of respect we see between App State and U of MT but I doubt that will ever happen. With all this being said and to return to my old persona...STC. LOL I don't use the F word.

No, not really worried about that at all - mainly because he's proven over the past 30 games or so that he's extremely durable - despite what some posters on here have been predicting for the last couple years. Of course it could happen, which would suck for him, but we have an incredible backup in Jake Bleskin, and a young phenom behind him named Dakota Prukop.

Still taking JJ and TM over McGhee though.....kind of puzzles me. When DM is through at MSU it will be a pretty good bet that a lot of fans at MSU will put him at the top (dam close to Lulay) as the best QB to ever play at MSU.....well....sorta like Dickenson (who I think is as good as his legend) that UM fans are all ways longing for. JJ & TM well....not so much!!! I am not talking smack here either..... I just haven't seen it yet....and I don't think I ever will see anything more than an average BSC QB. Lets bookmark this post and bring it back up in 2014....I'll let you spoonfeed me the crow. Sound like a deal?
