So why is it that

My sources (whom I trust) say that Haslem was in Turdstonfieldville, Arkansas this weekend and knows the answer to your question. When I heard, the first thing that came to mind was: Game Changer. If I say anything on here, my sources won't give me info anymore. (Don't get into the fact that I trust them even though they consistently leak information that is inexplicably top secret to me and others). Accordingly, this post is simply to inform everyone that I know the answer to the question, and not to actually answer the question or provide any useful information whatsoever.

Now, how impressed is everyone that I know? Pretty rad, right?

Pease is still in. I doubt VA's barber would take the pay cut, so it looks like this is a two man race. With their names, we should just hire both and go back to the old colors. That's my kind of retro.

Why do Congressional staffers leak national security (or nearly) information? This question has actually been explored. While a few leakers are sincerely motivated by the feeling that "the public has a right to know," most are simply feeding their egos, their (inflated) sense of importance in the "grand scheme of things."

I always get a huge hoot out of conspiracy theories that depend upon the government keeping some dire secret from us (JFK assassination, UFO's, you pickum'). Remember the "A-Bomb" secret? (No ... for most of you.) Easily the most important secret in history, and we could not keep that from leaking. ;) :D

Nope, no shrink here. Just passing along what I've read (if I thought anyone gave a damn, I could even find the journal reference.)

And, of course the government doesn't tell us everything. Did I say that? I don't think so. They generally tell us only what they want us to here, and -- when pressed -- as little as they think they can get away with. What I said was, and all I said was, that our government has trouble keeping really important secrets ... so how likely is it that they could keep a really big conspiracy a secret for decades? Possible ... but highly unlikely. (Since my wife knows me as hardened cynic, she laughed so hard she got the hiccups when she heard someone thought I might be naive. :lol: :lol: )

Brint Wahlberg from Omaha is wondering the name of the new coach. Old Growler is down at the Mo club drunk as a skunk asking why UM just hired old what's name?

The above mentioned are all card carrying democrats and some might be packing.

Then about midnight the day before the announcement this lady was walking on the beach.
It was cold and windy with the surf high and rolling. This nice woman stubbed her toe and as she was falling cried out "OOOHH STITT"

Now how did she know who? While others could only guess at the answer? We may never know but it will always be talked about for years to come.
