Jensen>Sneed...Sneed>Anderson. Therefore if Jensen goes to cats and Sneed remains Montana’s qb msu will have a better qb. :coffee:

Not even close. Sneed better. That's why Jensen left UM. Knew that he had been beaten out.

Doesn’t Bobby say stats are for LOSERS!

Don't know. Quitting is usually for losers.

Then is Sneed a "loser" for quitting UNLV? I certainly don't think so. Neither is Jensen.

I honestly think Jensen is the better QB overall and will be successful wherever he lands. Sneed was the better QB for what we have to work with. I like Sneed's toughness and leadership. I really liked what I saw in the 1st half from him. He seems to get rattled though and starts getting sloppy when things begin to go the wrong way. The TO's aren't entirely on him, but he does get errant in his decision making. Hopefully, that will improve. He will never be a guy who will be able to accuratly drive a long pass down field. That hurts us. When he's healthy though, his mobilitity is a serious weapon.

Original thread locked, when there are much worse ones out there...

To review....

PR thinks Sneed is great. Had great game stats today, two interceptions were late so should be no penalty. Then commented Gresch had average again today.

My statistical look had some surprises.

Actually he has had 2 Player of the Week.

I can pick stats too...Jensen last week

20-33, 277 yards, 1 td, 1 int, 69 yards rushing, 8.6 yards per carry, 2 td (this was not either of his two big games)

For the season rushing
GJ (many claim he can’t run), 44-253, 5.7 yds/carry, 5 tds ZERO fumbles

Sneed (many claim he can - me too but these numbers are surprising) 90-473, 5.3 yds/carry, 5 tds, 5 fumbles, loss 4. Now remove the Big game, 74-266, 3.6 yds/carry, 2 tds, and still the same fumbles.

I’m sure people won’t accept the obvious, and will claim his completion percentage is higher, lol.

One more....

Jenson, 13 tds, 5 interceptions- didn’t play much in one game

Sneed, 12 tds, 7 interceptions

Not sure I understand YOUR fascination with Sneed, except to stir the pot on eGriz. You’re a smart guy, the numbers speak for themselves.

And I used a bigger sampling of stats.

You are welcome to Jensen's stats this year against JC competition.

Passing 8 128-220-5 58.2% 1906 13 88 238.3
Rushing....... 8 44 278 31 247 5.6 5 37 30.9

Knowing how predictable you are, and knowing this would be your only argument, I already looked at Sneed’s stats against JC competition last year. Sorry, Gresch blows him away. I won’t post the stats because you will always deny you are wrong, even when the stats prove it. I suspect that Gresch’s JC competition has been much tougher than Sneed’s anyway.

IMO, On this subject, you are wrong. I will no longer post about it, because in 2 years I think we all may know.

I know what Sneed's prior stats were. If you were paying attention, you would've seen them on egriz as they were being debated for weeks earlier in the season. I like Sneed's stats this year better than Jensen's last year too.

I liked Jensen last year, and thought he had nice potential, but it is true that he never won a tough game. After hearing what I heard about him this year after he left, I'm glad he's gone. He wasn't right for UM. He think he's better than he is. Almost quit, when Phillips got the starting job. Wow, talk about not understanding your abilities.

On this subject, you won't, or may not, post, because you know I will run you out of the gym on it. You should stick with telling us what a great decision UMass made by moving up to FBS. I see that UMass beat Duquense, and UConn, which has beaten only Rhode Island this year.

Now you’re just full of sh**. Spinning lies, no wonder people don’t like you. You know damn well, I told you that UMass was moving up, and you spent 6 months saying it wasn’t happening. I also told you the reason for the move. You looked kind of dumb on that one, but then too my cousin was the head coach. At no time did I ever said that I personally thought it was a good move, even Derek said he preferred staying in the A-10, but then too, his team was already Division 1, and ranked in top 25 a little bit.

Look in the mirror. That guy will believe you. And I own the field on the Sneed/Jensen stats. You couldn’t run with me on stats anywhere, bank on it. Lol

At this stage, not sure Sneed will improve. IMO, Jensen had a higher ceiling than Sneed does. Too bad he wasn’t given a equal chance.

I'm so f*cking tired of the Jensen talk. Every thread that mentions him should be automatically locked and the "mentioner" banned for a week. He's f*cking gone people! GET THE F*CK OVER IT ALREADY!!!

No kidding. Some people can't let go of the past.

UNI was a big game, in my view. Too bad WI beat them this weekend.

Sneed is going to beat the Cats.

I'm glad you just predicted that, hope it turns out like your prediction for the UCD game where you said the griz were going to win.

winning big games is why kem thought sneed was a much better qb than jensen. i think the logic went that sneed "won" a big game at unlv, whereas jensen and the griz didn't win any "big games" last year, with "big games" being defined by kem as... whatever fits his agenda.

I think you should post this in every thread, because it might make a difference.

maybe he read the title, and was going with the subject at hand? that could be the reason he posted something relevant.

notice how fast the ball is leaving his hands, and getting in fairly tight spaces accurately? interesting approach to playing qb, as opposed to having a slow delivery and scrambling around a bunch.

None of this is of any relevance.

disagree. it gives us some insight into hauck's ability to evaluate talent.

Why, did he say Jensen was bad?

didn't want him and doesn't miss him, according to greenie. and he clearly thought sneed was better.
