Sneed vs Gresch - continues

I have lost faith in Sneed. He has shown some flashes, but he has hurt the team too many times. I feel like it is time to move on.
GJ is gone and I’m 100% over it. GJ is playing for Fullerton college where they play at high school stadiums. I like and liked GJ, I wish he would have stayed. Wish in one hand and shit in the other right? He is not playing even close to the quality of opponents he did here in Missoula. To be frank only three of the games have been what I would expect from him I guess you play to the level of your opponent, and I am far from impressed. Saddleback was not either FWIW.
I am not at all a fan of juco qbs being an answer, other positions maybe but not QB. I am very excited for Graves or Harris to show us what they got. Not this year, however I feel like the future is far brighter.
Give Hauck time. Give the team time. Don’t stop believing time to finish 3-0!
Go Griz! Fight on!

None of this is of any relevance.

disagree. it gives us some insight into hauck's ability to evaluate talent.

Why, did he say Jensen was bad?

didn't want him and doesn't miss him, according to greenie. and he clearly thought sneed was better.

I am not sure anyone said that he didn't want him. As for missing him, why should he, he has to move on with the guys he has and not dwell. As for Sneed being better, I won't say that from a physical standpoint, but he sure worked harder on being the guy.

I agree 100%. Mistakes like this can take years to over come. Hauck won't give Humphrey a shot and next year is another no playoff year.

It doesn't take being a fb genius to know (after watching several games from both) that Jensen was/is a MUCH better pure QB than Sneed. I don't know how anyone can honestly argue that and I, for one, can NOT forget/forgive Bobby for running off a very talented QB and bringing in his guy. I supported Sneed at first and he had 1 or 2 good games, but has many obvious flaws as a QB. We have a great WR corp, but he can't find a way to make them effective very often and Bobby, stubbornly, refuses to replace him even when he is horrible until the game is long over (UND and UC-Davis). UNI replaced their "star" starting Qb when he was struggling, and the backup nearly brought them back. That backup has gone back to being the backup, and has only 4 completions since the UM game, but their coach wasn't afraid to change things up when the starter isn't on. Not Bobby. He's sticking with his guy no matter what, and that's why he deserves to be held responsible for his guy and his guy isn't very good.

I would take Sneed over Jensen any day. Sneed runs the team better, is a better leader, is a better runner, is faster, is more mobile, and has a higher completion percentage than Jensen did last year or this year, so far. Sneed also doesn't start games by the throwing the ball into the "dirt" multiple times the first couple series, as Jensen was prone to do.

Hauck has stuck with Sneed because the coaches believe Sneed gives the team the best chance to win. Maybe that will change sometime. If it does, great. Hauck, Rosenbach and Pease know a heck of a lot more about football and quarterbacks than you do. I can assure you that Hauck couldn't care about what you think.

Maybe he gets a kickback from the athletic department. Lol

It's more likely that PR is consistently right.

You know how the whole situation was handled? Some of you Jensen droolers might change your tune if you actually knew the WHOLE situation. Y’all won’t listen though, so keep longing for and wishing for someone that didn’t truly want to be here or he would still be. My goodness it will never end.....

I’ve heard 3 different stories, ALL claiming they have good contacts and know how it went down. Truth is, only 3 people know, and only 1 of them knows why he made his decision. The rest is just people claiming they know. All 3 stories are completely different.

I agree. I understand the o-line is a big issue but he has no touch on his passes and misses some that should be automatic for a QB at this level. vs. UC Davis on a third and 2 he rocketed a passes over Lee's head that would have gotten a first down easy. that was a big play, just one example of many similar plays. he can scramble decently but he is not an accurate passer.

Sneed has nice tough and accuracy. He missed a swing pass to Lee, but it wasn't rocketed over his head. I believe it was thrown behind Lee, who was moving forward by then. Jensen used to miss some of these passes too.

Sneed has 7 interception in 8 games including 3 in the last game. Jensen had 10 interception in 8.5 games. Sneed averages 59 years rushing per game. Jensen averaged about 20 in 10 games, so probably not more than say 25 in 8.5 games.

It's funny how some of you remember that Jensen never missed a pass or threw an interception. Only Sneed does that.

Again, I liked Jensen as a qb and thought he had good potential to become very good. But Phillips was much better, in my view, and Jensen made a lot of mistakes. Most forgave his mistakes because he was a frosh who had gotten thrown into the starting role. If Sneed starts throwing 2 or 3 picks a game, my view of him will change.
