this is my response to kyle or anyone covering griz football:

just my way of serving notice. newspaper reporters around this state have gotten progressively sloppy and biased. especially in sports. my goal is not have you be in that group.
please don't let me down. we don't need another homer like the last two guys. report. good or bad. just report. poor reporting has rotted our fan base. way too many think we can do no wrong. don't cater to that crap please.

Sample is off to a good start, and is going to be terrific. Judging by communications he's had with some friends of mine in the past several months, I can tell that he is energetic, hard-working, understands football, and is "on-it". His recent posts on egriz are examples.

If there's anything rotten with Griz fans, it's people like getgrizzy who confuse negativism with objectivity. I'm glad egriz has finally gotten around to seeing how rotten gg is. I spotted it years ago in his early posts. I believe gg was the first posting lies about Jimmy Wilson. gg keeps links to many negative articles on UM players, and then, even when the original stories or allegations turn out not to be accurate and completely untrue, he continues to post them as facts. gg is truly a loser--rotten to the core.

Keep up the good work, Sample.

First off, I believe he is a she.

Something happened in her past related to griz football. No idea what it is, and I don’t care.
What I know is that she is an agenda driven, chronic liar with some axe to grind. Her canned response always has something to do with objectivity, or wanting the program to be “better”. It’s transparent drivel.

The only people who still buy her act haven’t been around that long. She has been spewing this garbage for years.

This is my response. Journalism has changed. The printed page is going away. If he wants to keep his job, he needs to direct traffic to the Missoulian. If that means posting a teaser on egriz, then so be it. That is all he was doing. Telling us what he knows and how we can come to him to get more information. You don't have to like it. I really don't all that much either, but I am not naive enough to think that Journalism is what it was 20 years ago either.
 
It would seem that, if one is going to throw out a proactive jab at a journalist, one would at least attempt to write in a proper format, utilizing grammar, capitalization, punctuation, etc. Or not........

KS will do a great job. Glad to have him here.

good post. refreshing to see a fan that isn't down with the win at all cost mentality. kyle has great potential. he can definitely do better than the last guy and fritz. just be a pro kyle and don't fall into the raider, p.r., etc trap. good luck.
