My guess is...if Stitt did not see him as being able to make it at receiver talent wise/skill set wise in the future (maybe not this year) MS would have been told to look at other options (transferring etc.) The fact that he is also willing to switch from QB, says a lot about his "team player" mentality. I hope he make it .

Being switched to a position he has never played might be interpreted as a message "to look at other options (transferring etc.). Particularly if he is driven to play QB.

Welll, Kramer figured out that Hayden Stout could get through Montana's genius offensive line and strip the ball and did so twice because our offensive line coach did not figure that out after the first one. Not "fumbles" in the sense of "gee he just dropped the ball."

There's an extremely vocal element of this fanbase that never considers that anymore. Players are now fair game to question their "abilities, intelligence, character and will power," and to do so gratuitously. Of course, there is a context for that. Hard for some to remember, these kids wanted to be Griz!

"I know you hear this all the time, but - he works his tail off…in the weight room, on the field doing drills…he has to be first and compete and all that stuff. They [the Griz] are getting someone that's a winner who knows what he's doing..."

As with nearly every player who suits up as a Griz I am hoping that he becomes the best to ever play his position.

If he can catch well and run good routes, he could end up being utilized like Matt Szczur.

My only concern is his fumbles. Now, I'm no expert and running as the QB might be different than catching and running as a receiver....let's hope so, because it seemed like any time he got hit hard he had a propensity to fumble.
