What happened to the 270 lb David Reese? :?

This: Reese, who is down to 250 pounds for basketball season, said he will be up to 290 or more before he steps on the field for the Grizzlies.

I can attest that in high school Chuck Mason and Chad Germer were no where near the 290+ weights that they played at during their time with the Griz. I'd be amazed if either were 220 their senior year of high school. Chris Dyk was also much lighter in high school. It's all about the frame and how dedicated they are in the weight room.

Dwan Edwards was 215 in HS, about 275 at Oregon St. and around 300 for his 11 years in the NFL.

Going the other direction, I wonder how much Scott Gragg weighs these days; he looks more like a retired NBA player than a retired NFL OT.

About 250, I would guess. He's still a big guy, just not a giant anymore.

Reggie Tilleman is the son of former Havre High great Lee Tilleman, who went on to play at Wazzu. I believe Lee is one of the last Blue Ponies to ever be named a Parade High School All-American. Reggie is also the grandson of Chinook and Grizzly Hall of Famer Mike Tilleman. Some good football genes there. :clap:

So I didn't see a kicker on our list of signees. Is that not a concern or are there just too few scholarships available? Seemed to be a lot of gnashing of teeth on this board about it last season, but I haven't seen anyone mention it.

I believe young Mr. Ben Worst will be outstanding in the field goal department this year! Has worked extremely hard this off season....we will see! His extra points were not an issue.
