It’s strange because I live in this state and haven’t heard anything in the news about Walnut Creek. Never been there, but I’ve heard it’s not exactly Newport.

Not carried by the media you'd be aligned with. Big time smash and grab mob, most of downtown. Google works. Just an example that it's not just SF and LA. As you know.

Got it. You’re right, I really only read the local paper and watch the local news. I try to stay up to date on the general happenings back home, but only because I have ties to the area. I guess I just don’t really care what happens in a Bay Area town (had to Google that) because it doesn’t affect me.

Yep, LA and SF make up all of California. There’s really nothing else here. I went to Drummond once, so I’ve pretty much experienced the entire state.

It's a symptom of everything broken in California. Wokeness and indifference will kill California and the rest of the country.

"woke" and 'wokeness" appear to be words of the day on the right wing media, that only the "unwoke" know about. The only place I see that is here. Ask anyone in South Carolina if anyone is "woke" and they wlll politely refer to their auntie, the one who dislikes boiled peanuts.

If they don’t want to pay the fees, go somewhere else. It’s not that complicated. There are literally thousands of colleges to choose from. Go find one that doesn’t have athletic programs.

JMU students pay an annual athletic fee of $2,500 compared to UM & MSU students paying about $220 per year. JMU has athletic facilities that many Power 5 teams would envy.

I wouldn’t trade their stadium for ours. Gonna guess their basketball facility isn’t better than Dahlberg. Not sure what other “facilities” they have that are so envious…please, enlighten me.
