Honestly, I hope Griz fans give these players and team a standing O for their perseverance to get to Montana and play. It might be all of the players first visit to Montana---fans should make them want to return!
I agree. Give them a fantastic Montana welcoming. Have them ask to come back. That's the sign of a true experience...wanting to do it again.
Ditto. :thumb:
And wouldn't it be a hoot if an actual Savannah State fan showed up -- aside from the traveling personnel etc. Anyone know if they'll bring a cheer squad? But an actual SS fan will probably need help to get into the stadium after all the free beer he/she would get.

It is a long way from the Lowlands to Missoula, but there might be a couple of fans. If they have the money, which is doubtful, (most Historically Black schools don't) they would entertain the UM crowd with their cheerleading squad which is well known around here. Doubt if many drink. And, I doubt if
any have seen a mountain. One of the great things about Southern Football is the respect shown to the other team. USC, Tennessee and others always play the visiting school's fight song. UM could do that and it might make the pregame more interesting.
