Shocking trumaine news

Also look at how many people in the NFL get in serious trouble. Have you honestly thought bad about the school they went to because of them? I haven't.

Good point, when I hear about any player screwing up, my reaction is usually, "What a dumb ass"!

In this case, it applies to Tru also.

Seriously, over the last few years, when Kenny Britt has messed up 8 times now, not one time have I heard, "Rutgers is a bad school because of Kenny Britt."

Has anyone ever heard any comments, or thought badly of West Virginia because of Adam "Pacman" Jones?

Not one time have I heard anyone mention the "U"/University of Miami tied to the mega dumb ass the Broncos have, in DJ Williams.

I guess, if you can consider giving Cat fans something to give GRIZ fans shit about, then, fire away at TRU. Funny part is, if a former Cat had done this, some GRIZ fans would be all over Cat fans for it. Oh the horror of TJ missing a practice, will forever be known as the downfall of GRIZ football.

Was this immature, and stupid? Sure in the hell was. Honestly think about it, most of us did more immature, and stupid things in our early 20's. We lived, and we learned. I am sure,Tru will do the same. He is human, and allowed to make mistakes. Ironically, with so many that ride him for the negative, it makes me want to root for him even more, just hoping, he proves the naysayers wrong.
Rutgers, no Miami, yes on numerous occasions because people can't believe that they keep recruiting people like that West Virginia, no because they put the hammer down on his horseshit in college.

I live in Denver. Even here, every time DJ gets in trouble, or does something, has the news mentioned him with Miami. Over the last few years, I have heard one smart ass fan comment about DJ, and Miami.

The universities/programs, are impacted when the players are doing dumb shit while attending school. Then, it is a bad reflection of the program. I honestly, do not see TJ's missing a practice, having much impact on the GRIZ, beyond egriz, at least.

I cringe every time I hear or read about Ryan Leaf or Micheal Ray Richardson.

In case you haven't noticed, there is plenty of things Cat fans can give fizz fans shit about lately

 Stockton CA is in bankruptcy. A quick-thinking Trumaine (forget that) would have said it wasn't his fault. That he got to the airport to find out that it had been foreclosed on and taken back by the bank.

jcu: I don't care if Tru did not have a full $1million contract. What I care about is this is a job that presumably TJ has wanted most of his life. Anyone on this board who has ever gotten a job, first is thankful that he/she got the job, no matter if it's a minimum wage job. IT'S A JOB, for godssakes! Second, you show up the first morning or at the first of the shift, ready to go. And, you show your employer he/she got a good man. After all, the employer is wondering if he/she made a good hire w/ you. In a lot of situations, you don't show up, the employer has another to take your place & you are SOL.

TJ is lucky. Don't kid yourself. The Rams have noted this, plus all the other baggage that TJ brings w/ him. Yes, NFL employers are not like most employers; they give their players more latitude than other employers. And, it's possible some teams give their players more latitude than others. But, I'm promising you that if TJ turns out to be more of a headache for the team than an asset, he'll get traded. Then, he'll get traded, again, then...... Is that the lifestyle he wants in the NFL? He'd better think about it. He'll be in the headlines for the wrong reasons. This guy better shape up, and fast.

eGrizzers are no different than anyone else: We like to see UM players in the NFL, and take interest in them long after leaving UM. We're like dads wanting our "sons" to succeed in football. We may be unique in this regard. So, yes, we come down on TJ for not shaping up in this first, most important step in his NFL career. I do not recall any other UM player in the NFL that had this problem.

All TJ had to do was realize he has, possibly for the first time in his life, A REAL JOB. If I were TJ, I'd have damned well flown to St. Louis the day before practice, gave a wakeup call to the motel, gone to bed early, etc., etc. At 20+ years of age, this guy still has a lot of growing up to do. I hope he can do it.

D2.... Why does it matter to you? Seriously are you Trus girlfriend or what?
 First, jcu, I should have known better than reply to you. Second, I don't think you know what it means to have a job, let alone, get one. Third, you, like TJ, should grow up. Fourth, I shouldn't have replied to this post. Silly me. Fifth, reply all you want to this post, but the thread will move on for more mature discussion. You little prick.

That's important to you? If so, you & jcu are in the same book. Piss off.

Too bad I do have a job. I work at western sugar. What do you do? Collect social security?

Did you show up on time your first day of work? Yes, I collect SS, and have shown up for my first day of work over the years. I earned my retirement. I hope TJ earns his. I hope you do, too.

I always show up to work and ten minutes early too. But, this isn't the point. There's no need to be concerned about what Tj is doing. It's his life and he screws up with what he's been blessed with it's his fault and will pay the price. If he straightens out, good for him. But, there's no need to get this worked up over him missing a practice. Especially when most of us don't even know him.

I completely agree with JCU on this. :thumb: As for how he got there, well, not so much.

Do you pick the crops with the other Mexicans?
Western Sugar is a factory moron. Plus there's only about 6 mexicans that work there. Mostly whites some asians and some mexicans. But, clearly you don't know what WS is. Use google. Plus imo 1800 a month isn't too bad for a 20 year old. And once campaign starts I'll be putting in a bid for a job in the mill which pay is 20-30 an hour. Which I'll probably get on since my brother already works in that area and is a boss in there aswell.
