I wonder how many tickets we’re talking about? Can these season ticket holder’s( who I find need a course in integrity) sell on multiple sites? Is this a combination of things like bots, and season ticket holders? I really have no idea but we had a chance to sell out the stadium and now end up with a goat rope.

So if 19,000 season ticket holders for the most part renewed

3000 for students that the UM secured

4000ish left but it seemed many got tickets after a while. So it probably isn’t some horrific amount. Maybe 1500-2500

But all season ticket holders are not renewing. Only 20,750 or so total tickets for first 2 games. Take the last game. Subtract the 3,000 purchased for students. Only 17,750 sold to season ticket holders and others. There must have been thousands sold to others. So what for season ticket holders? 13,000? 14,000? I think the "gap" is much bigger than 1500-2500.

as of right now on stubhub, 51 total tickets left. I just counted the available seats in each section. Never purchased tickets before, so....

edit: never mind. I had selected 1 seat. if you select 2 or more, it goes up.

I hope no one loses a job over this. But it’s been a while since there’s been a nationally relevant playoff game in Missoula, so everything is a bit ‘out of practice.’ Yes a LOT of things could have been done better, but everyone I know who wanted tickets and wasn’t a season ticket holder found them through Griz Tix yesterday.

Next time they should be able to tighten things up a bit. But it also speaks to how desirable this game is for fans.

Tried the website last night right at 5. Cluster. I've got my own but looking for one ticket for a son.

Figured if I show up in person at the first time available (office closed at 430 yesterday) for ticket sales I'd be able to secure one......but not at UM ticket office!

For people really wanting to go... I bet there will still be tickets being sold (extras) at tailgates before game and obviously secondary sites if you really want to get a ticket.
I know lots of people still wanting to go. The demand for this game is extraordinary and the tickets were only $35. Having it be against NDSU just put it at a different level.
What a great match-up, combined with good weather for mid-December, decent roads.... and a starved fanbase for the Semi's at home.

331 on stub hub. Most are going to be cross posted so it’s probably not more than 400-500 as of now.

My theory on the sudden availability of season tickets the last two Thursdays is that they’ve waited to release those sections so the other sections fill in better for TV. Then the better seats have been released later in the week. Probably crack pot but let’s see if there are more available tomorrow again.

Unless there are rules against it, why not open it up for 500-1,000 standing room only tickets and let people walk around stadium, fill in... stand and watch from various parts of the stadium? Clearly there is huge demand for the game and many people still wanting to go and buy tickets. Not sure what the sweet spot number would be so that security could still handle crowd it just seems there would be ways to be creative to sell more tickets?
