Just curious...how should have the university stopped re-sale outlets from buying and re-selling tickets??hm.grwn.grizfan said:BWahlberg said:Bots are flooding the re-sale sites with 3x to 5x upcharge. We'll have empty seats everywhere thanks to this.
Yeah, no way this game sells out now. Fine f***ing job by the university on this one. I’m sorry, but whoever is in charge of ticket sales is utterly incompetent. I’m seeing tickets online all over the stadium for between $200 and $500…….

Also - I’m a season ticket holder but isn’t there a maximum seat purchase of 4 tickets through Griz Tix? If that’s the case there is 0 chance a bot would be able to do this - you would need hundreds of unique ID’d Griz Tix accounts, and basically a quantum computer to run that script that quickly.

Then how did seatgeek stubhub vivid seats all end up with hundreds of tix available on their sites by 5:30?
How did one “person “ on Stub get 23 seats together if they only can by 4? And it did crash right away it sounds like with UM saying they were aware of problemsGrizInTheZoo said:I think a lot of you do not understand how ticket bots work. Just checked all 3 sites, and I’m not seeing 23 seats being sold together on any of them, do you have a link to what you’re seeing?

bigkid said:I wonder how many tickets we’re talking about? Can these season ticket holder’s( who I find need a course in integrity) sell on multiple sites? Is this a combination of things like bots, and season ticket holders? I really have no idea but we had a chance to sell out the stadium and now end up with a goat rope.

So if 19,000 season ticket holders for the most part renewed
3000 for students that the UM secured
How many came up already in GA? 1000 or so?
4000ish left but it seemed many got tickets after a while. So it probably isn’t some horrific amount. Maybe 1500-2500
The limit must be more than 4 because i got 6.GrizInTheZoo said:I think a lot of you do not understand how ticket bots work. The capture of 1000’s of tickets within 2 minutes would have crashed Griz Tix immediately, it essentially mimics a DDOS attack.

But those six were/are not for resale. Just a group of griz fans going together.Maxim said:The limit must be more than 4 because i got 6.GrizInTheZoo said:I think a lot of you do not understand how ticket bots work.
