Selection Sunday Discussion

Well that was a f’n hose job. How the hell do we get seeded in the Midwest against Michigan and they send Greensboro out west against Gonzaga! Pure bull shit.

Well the selection show don’t think too much of it. Not a good word about us yet during the whole show besides when they announced the con auto bid.

Anybody got anything on Michigan. How good are they?

Won the big 10 tourney . Hot at the end playing well. Definitely winnable game though. Lost by 20 to Nebraska at some point. They have 7 or 8 losses I think. Watched them a bit. Good ball movement, passing well into post. Some in and out stuff.

Not sure many will agree with this line of thinking.

Well, the Griz don't seem to mind...

Damn. Looks like a 14.

Bullshit.

Thought 14 was most likely.

It was but 13 seemed quite likely too. I thought Marshall should've been the 14 and the Griz a 13 if you go by BPI and/or RPI. Marshall (due to the conference they're in) has a few good wins but also some bad bad losses.

Oh well, Michigan it is!

On a more serious note my initial gut reaction is we could have done worse and I dont think our reach exceeds our grasp with Michigan. Play our best and Michigan will have all or more than they can handle

I am sitting here right now with large contingent of Griz and non griz that certainly agree.

Too bad they don't get a closer road trip to Boise. None the less, does not matter where they placed the Griz as a 12, 13, or 14. We knew it was going be against a solid opponent. If our guys don't let March Madness nerves get them in a big hole early, they will make us proud and represent well. Go Griz!
