So your contention PR, if I follow correctly, is that egriz could be held liable for allowing an unsubstantiated rumor to go unchallenged when the person typing the rumor states that she has no idea whether it is true?

If a poster contends, for example, that a person of color is, in fact, Irish, would that be an idiotic statement that should be challenged?

If an untrue statement is made about someone on an internet forum, and the fact that it is untrue is called to the attention of the forum, the forum must remove it or it will be subject to liability.There is a federal statute on it. Also, it is illegal to defame someone, whether on the internet or elsewhere.

So everyone that called me a liar and a POS were actually defaming me, and there for ipso facto must be plerabus unumed in front of a Marshall of the courts?

I am certainly not a liar, I don't fuel fires, and I graduated from University of Minnesota. I use words to paint pictures, because that was my job for about 7 years after College. Call me what you will (I am fat...I can take it). All I was saying is THAT is what I heard. I hope it is not true and that JJ and the rest of the team stay out of trouble. There will be other incidents at BOTH schools..Hell I was top of my class, and once challenged a cop to a foot race. (I won the race, but lost the war)

Give us the name and contact information for the Griz fan you communicated with, and we will contact him to find out what he told you. Surely, he would be willing to confirm what he told you.

I never understood posters who get their jollies from intentionally being irritants on the internet, and who provide no information and noting of value. Wow PR breaks this law all the time. Where's the Feds? His SOP, time and time again. Doesnt agree with you, calls you out, calls you a liar, threatens you...quite funny. I guess egriz is liable for his behavior. hahaha

Example: You know something he doesn't, he denies, calls you a liar, of course you know its true. He ask you to prove (nosey) so technically he calling you a liar, on something you know is true, makes his statement untrue, thus egriz is liable for that statment, and of course calling you a liar is defamation. I know I have personally experienced this. Whatever....lol.
