There was nothin discreet about it, and I know you did it for some of the final games of the season. I assume Stitt was just doing it to counter the noise, and he's arrogant enough to think that it doesn't matter if the D knows when you're snapping the ball because they can't stop you anyway. Of course this was true against us because our defense was shitty.
You have that last part right. I've never seen a more embarrassing unit. This year, I think they might get marginally better, but the offense sucks and has no QB. Could we possibly see another 0-fer in Bozeman this year? It's not impossible. 3-8 is my prediction. Maybe a few 3-8 seasons will lead to them finally canceling the program like the should have done years ago. It's a drain on the local economy with absolutely no redeeming qualities. There is no reason the state should keep running that charity.
Poorgriz, honest question here, and totally football related, with no Montana State/Montana smack intended. My question is, do you think Beau Baldwin is a good football coach?
Yes
Then you must think Beau is an arrogant SOB just like Stitt. Because last November, the Griz' D absolutely blasted and beat the living s--t out of all THREE EWU QB's and yet, they continued to do the leg-tap signal right up until the last play of the game. You must also think John Stiegelmeir is an arrogant SOB too because the Griz demolished SDSU's QB in the playoffs last year, and guess what? They did the leg-tap signal right up until the last play of the game.
