Sam Herders Bracket Projections

hm.grwn.grizfan said:
Has PR (mthoopsfan) informed Sam herder yet that he hasnt played and nor does he understand the game? How can herder be the voice of FCS when he hasn’t played the game?

Herder didn't play the game. I communicated with him several years ago, when he kept saying Harvard was having the best recruiting classes. Herder works at it and gets a lot of info, but I don't think he knows the game very well (unless he just learned it). I haven't even bothered to look at his stuff in recent years, because his earlier stuff was so weak. Is he your hero now?

Not my hero at all, not in the slightest. In fact he seems to be a closet cat fan

Lets be honest. Your team played the easiest schedule in the Big Sky, only playing Weber (at home), and us (at home). We played by far the toughest schedule in the Sky, playing you, Weber, Idaho, and Sac. State, with three of them on the road. You beat Weber only because of four safeties which has never occurred in 120 years of college football. And, you will lose to us. There was a valid reason why we were ranked #3 nationally before we lost close games on the road due to not having a quality back-up QB. But you have got to know that we can, and will defeat you if Johnson plays QB in that game. My prediction.

Ha! This is pretty good. the Bobcats will be rocking, the stadium will be rocking, the griz won't be able to handle it - just like in 2019..... although I don't think the outcome will be that severe of an ass beating the griz took last game in Bozo.

Not sure they are taking into account that Montana will bid much higher than anyone else. $ talks!

Well, since the process is that bids aren't unsealed until after the bracket is determined, the bid really is a nonfactor if they are not placed into the bracket. I think people overestimate how much bids play into the actual selection of teams.

And you lost all of those games.... so what's your point?

His point is that the griz have not proven even ONCE this year that they can beat a good team, nor have they proven they can win a close game. Anyone with half a brain understands the griz look really good when playing shit teams, but not so good when playing good to great teams. Cal Poly is absolutely terrible, and EWU isn't good either. griz will easily beat EWU. Your next real test to see if you can finally beat a team with a winning record, comes on November 19th in Bozeman. :thumb:

In your way of thinking shouldn’t the cats have blown out ew if the griz will easily beat them? Asking for a friend.

What sucks is we are going to destroy the Cats and we STILL won't have beaten a good team! Guess we will have to wait until we mow our way through the bracket to get any QUALITY wins. You have to be high on drugs to feel good about your team if you are the Cats. C'mon man!!!

But unless you are a complete Idiot they know the Griz will bid much higher!

Yes, but what a school can bid isn't a criteria factored into selection.

I agree we will destroy the team you “beat” by 3 after a horrible call. Not sure why both defenses even bothered suiting up in that game.

No, and PR is right about some of you not understanding the game. Playing EWU on the inferno versus playing them in Washington Bobcat Stadium is NIGHT and DAY. It's shocking to me that some of you don't understand that. Probably a 20 point difference (EWU playing at EWU worth 6 or 7 points, and griz playing at home worth around 14). Not to mention how healthy EWU was at that point whereas Cats were banged up. See how easy that is to make excuses about injured players?

I don't think the Cats will even be in the game, they are the pretenders in the top 10, a blind monkey could throw on them

i predict griz win by a healthy margin. the win against weber was a total fluke. and they haven't played anyone else worth a damn. we will be battle hardened.
