Sac State did a lot of really dumb stuff in this game, but the biggest mistake of them all was 3rd and goal from the 1 and they ran the pitch play and the RB didn’t catch it. They ended up settling for a field goal rather than tying it at 21 which would’ve been 14 unanswered points and could’ve shifted the momentum of the game. I was wondering why Sac went for it on 4th and 7 inside their own 30 yard line with over 7 minutes left in the game.
Their failure to convert pretty much handed the win to the bobcats.

Griz D is better against run this year and will be more disciplined. UM D coaches are in more natural positions this season. Crowd will be a factor. Mellott won’t last game.
