Sac v bubs

I was wondering why Sac went for it on 4th and 7 inside their own 30 yard line with over 7 minutes left in the game.
Their failure to convert pretty much handed the win to the bobcats.
More than anything, this showcased Andy Thompson's HC inexperience.

Your head coach game plans on rumors that linebackers start at QB.

Is it that miserable being a cat fan that you can't help but be this sensitive after the biggest win of the season?

It’s not miserable at all. It’s just fun to point out the dumb crap you all spout of which there’s an endless supply.

When you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop, it certainly seems so.

"Andy Thompson showed his inexperience last night" was a perfectly reasonable take that wasn't dumb at all, but you decided to get butthurt about something innocuous said not even about your own team, but the team you just beat.

Certainly seems like you're in your feelings about something today.

No, he won't. Talks a big game but apparently won't put his money where his mouth is.

Why don’t you take the bet?

Because I'm not the one screaming that Griz will beat the cats. You are, but will only bet if you get points. Doesn't make much sense to me. If you're that confident, then pove it.

They knew they couldn't stop the Cats offense at that point, with the time on the clock they had no choice if the hoped to go for the win.

I agree. The chance to win was to get a TD on that drive. I would have done the same thing. Play to win.

Believing one’s team will win, which I have since, the off-season, is something different than betting. Do you bet every time you think the Griz will win? I haven’t screamed anything. I have said it multiple times.

It’s a rivalry game played in Missoula by a team coached by Bobby. New DC and Tim Hauck will have a better game plan than last year. Griz D is better against run this year and will be more disciplined. UM D coaches are in more natural positions this season. Crowd will be a factor. Mellott won’t last game. Hopefully, McDowell is still improving and healthy.

I will bet you $100 even up.
I personally think this game is a pickem being in Missoula. But I'm just pointing out that you say a lot of stupid things on here. Either you think the griz will win or you don't. Also if you make a million dollars a year and won't put up a grand on the griz at home against the cats, what kind of a fan does that make you?

You say stupid things, not me. Where did I say I made a million a year? I will bet you $1,000 I didn’t say that in this thread.

If I bet on the Griz to win, I will have basically sealed their fate. Take last year for instance, I put money on the cats to beat SDSU outright in the semis.... because I wanted the cats to lose. Nailed it!

Not in the least. 1 run with 1 good jump. Not much speed. Got run down.

Yep, pretty good for a 3rd or 4th stringer!!!
Suck St’s third string RB looked better than anyone the catz had. Or maybe the catz D just sucks. Hard to tell which which is which.

I thought good running teams were supposed to have good run D? Because they see it all the time at practice or something. Is that just a FB myth? Are the catz too busy double-repping to practice basic tackling?

Cat offense did as expected, pretty standard when you have the best rushing attack in the nation. Cat defense played pretty well, despite being down four starters. Sac ended up getting what, two hundo rushing? I mean it wasn't four hundred and sixty yards, like what the Cats do the griz, but yes they still got some yards.

Which 4 starters?
The bub-o O looks great but the D is nowhere near as good as in recent years. What happened?
If The Griz put “two hundo rushing” on the bubz it will be a blood bath.

What a great question! Let's look at this season's stats. Cats are giving up 125 ypg, Griz allow 84. Cats run for 325, Griz 158. I guess the Griz are a bad running team with a good running D. (SDSU, the best team in the nation, ran for 157 against that awful MSU run D.)

Rushing yards in Cat/Griz since 2016: 368/116, 322/116, 229/100, 382/46, 96/51, 439/96. The only Griz win in this stretch had them running for a whopping 51 yards. Cats averaged 306 on the ground, Griz 88 for the last 6 games head to head. So you're right, good running teams do indeed have good run D!

Thanks for taking all that time and doing all that research to prove my point: if The Griz run for “two hundo” on the bubx, Griz win big.

Here’s to needing 17 cameras to correct yet another major fudge up by the bsc that gifts a win to sac. Because as you’re possibly aware, “we don’t have them. We just don’t have them”.

Turns out, your wish came true on that kick return.

Why? What happened? Literally didn't watch a second. And why would I? It's sac and the bubs.

I'm guessing late film study session today. Gotta let that staff sleep it off, no?
