Sac state!

Interesting Sac State note...

The Hornets have four losses this year:

-2 losses to FBS schools

-2 losses to FCS schools by a combined 4 points (by 3 to SUU in Overtime thanks to a couple bogus calls and dumb penalties and to NAU by 1 after blowing a 17 point fourth quarter lead against the 'Jacks...)

Awwww, the plot thickens! If DOLA truly is dead, then this game may not be so easily won! 8-)

I see you convieniently left out giving up 56 points to an NAIA team and needing OT to get by them. :coffee:

No doubt the Hornets underestimated SOU, but will you still feel the same when they drop 50 on Carroll this weekend and win their 6th straight?

So what happens when msu loses to both ewu and Montana? Then they're 8-4. Nothing but a bunch of speculation.

If MSU loses to both, MSU does not get in.

Huh, that's idiotic, MSU gets in at 8 and 4.

Ya, if we lose to EWU, 3rd best team in the country, we won't drop but a couple places in the polls. Then if we lose to UM, depending on how they do until Cat\Griz, we still probably wouldn't drop far in the polls... might drop outside of the top ten but no worse than 15. I know they don't use the polls to make the selections, but we're talking 24 teams here and MSU ranked at around #12, 8-4 record, 2nd place in the Big Sky... gets in. On the road for first game most likely but we're in. If we lose one of the two and then also to SUU or UNCNCU... we're out.

We didn't get to count the UND pasty as a conference game...awesome
We don't get to play the Northern Colorado cupcake...
No ISU cupcake...
Other teams don't have to count some difficult conference games....
Not everyone plays everyone and there's no championship game...

FUCK THE NEW POINTLESS BIG SKY CONFERENCE
It's an unfair joke.
I honestly could care less about rooting for conference titles anymore.

As a fan in this bigsky era all I will root for is getting in the playoffs and going further than any other BigSky team.

FTBSC

Need two more for a lock
-Go get Sac State-

So if an NAIA beats another NAIA team, that makes it less embarrassing that an FCS team barely beat them? :?

...Sac State also put a 3 quarter beat down on an NAU team that bent you over for 4 quarters...

Perhaps...we shall see come Saturday. The Griz are obviously favored, but I think it will be a tough game

The Griz don't have their "backs up against the wall".

Well, I don't know what your definition is, but the conference title is gone and if UM loses this game, playoffs are gone too.

What?? Hardly.

Even if the Griz lose tomorrow (I don't think they will), how can the playoffs be gone? They could still easily finish 9-3 (I think the GRIZ beat the cats). And 8-4 may even get em in.

Don't confuse cat fans with facts. Just let them live in their little fantasy world, the one in which they have the best program in the state.

9-3 yes with a quality win being over #5 bobcats. 9-3 without beating the Cats, no quality wins, tougher. 8-4, 4 losses in the BSC, can't take the whole conference, and you will not have a head to head win against anyone above you except for Cal poly who might only end up with 3 conference losses. If the Griz get in at 8-4 it is purely on reputation, like thinking App state was a great win at the beginning of the year.

This is my opinion, based on common sense, though we have all seen crazy shit happen
