Next, how is a subjective poll proof of anything?

Lastly, can you tell me what happened when SAC STATE actually played UM last season?? (I'm sorry the truth hurts you so much.)

But, yeah, sure go ahead and choose to ignore H2H when it doesn't support your narrative. I'm SURE that's what you'd be doing right now if UM had won that game .....

If UM manages to beat SAC STATE this season you can't use it against us when we tell you, unequivocally, that the Hornets are the clear cut better team at season's end, OK? Doing so would make you a huge hypocrite (I'm sensing that's likely the case here).

In the meantime, keep going to the well of "you didn't win a playoff game" because we both know that's all you got. Cause you can't actually gloat about beating SAC STATE. And clearly that "stings" hahaha.

The SDSU that MSU put away shortly thereafter just after MSU was embarrassed in Missoula? Would have been a far easier test than JMU. Montana is 8-0 vs. SDSU.

Not that I’m happy with quarterfinals losses but somebody’s obviously doing a little more with their recent success then someone else.

Yeah, you kinda are being a douche. Because you're being selective. And forgetting YOUR current place. Which has been looking UP at the Hornets in the standings for the past couple seasons.

I suppose if my team had been outscored 77-43 the past couple games by an opponent -- I'd want to forget about it too.

You can choose to live in the distant past, if you want. The Hornets surely weren't very good for many years and your Griz were. But recent events and the here and now are what's most important no?

Last anyone checked, SAC ST is back-to-back conference champs. Montana isn't. SAC STATE has 2 wins over UM.
Hate it all you want, but that's the reality. You get the W this season and win the conference, you get bragging rights back. But until then, you need to be "reminded of your place", right?

Lastly, as for you selectively pushing your quarterfinals appearances as if they somehow trump the head-to-head matchups and conference titles --- answer me this. Did you have to play South Dakota State as the Hornets did?? Nope. If you did, you'd most likely have been out earlier too.

Again, I can see why you'd want to tout advancing to the QF versus having to discuss the head-to-head loss, at home, to SAC ST or the fact that you didn't win conference. It's just pretty disingenuous.

Living in the success of two games in the last three years. Never mind those absolutely failed playoff runs. Lost to a South Dakota team that lost to a different montana team that got blasted by us and I know he don’t wanna talk about Austin Peay in Sacramento.

You would've 100% lost to a healthy Montana team at any point last season (and EWU and MSU). I'm not claiming you guys didn't beat us, but you also gave up 21 points to a guy that literally couldn't move the ball at all against JMU.

You're also 3-20 against us all time. lol

If we're healthy this season, we'll probably beat you, so I'm ok with the last two years, despite how much you might hope otherwise.

It's nice to have a coach that doesn't completely choke at home two years in a row in the playoffs, though. Way to represent there, big sky champs. :lol:

Southern Utah backdoored it’s way into a regular season title once. Sac State was going to have a conference bball tournament in a HS cafeteria for goodness sake. Seems like one of their fans needs to remember that it’s Sac State.

Very true. Remember when Eastern fans used to some on here and try to chop it up during their relevance about 8-10 years ago? They don’t post anymore. Strange.

Yes their Division I FCS playoff record is 0-2. But who among us can forget that magical Division II playoff run in '88? Almost making the quarterfinals and CRUSHING North Carolina Central along the way...

I see Sac going 6 - 5 this year.They are still a good team with a good coach, but their schedule is not conducive to anything much higher. I will be surprised if they go 7 - 4.

However, and lets be honest here, our league is tough and anyone can be beaten by anybody. Sometimes the ball just has to bounce your way on 3 or 4 plays to make a huge difference in a season. :clap:

I see Sac going 6 - 5 this year.They are still a good team with a good coach, but their schedule is not conducive to anything much higher. I will be surprised if they go 7 - 4.

SacSt is 15-1 in conf. in the last two years with back-to-back BSC championships since Taylor took over. They have the best OL in the conference. I for one don't subscribe to that level of shade for SacSt's season. As good as we expect to be, we'll have our hands full in Sacramento trying avenge the blowout we suffered last time there.

To be fair and precise, it was a yoga studio, and actually on a college campus. It’s just that that campus was suk state so…..

Also, if I could tickle some memories for a moment, consider this is the program who sprayed fucking Pam on their jerseys. They were so desperate to beat the GRIZ even once they not only cheated, they cheated at a level so low it became a national joke. That’s the type of program we’re talking about here.

I presume tongue-in-cheek. 15-1 in conf the last two years; back to back BSC champs. They're not a flash in the pan. We have one win in Sacramento since 2009 and that required OT. Taylor is the real deal. Once he moves on they probably return to being the SacSt we know and love. Toughest game of the year for the Griz.
