I think the NAU loss to UNC can help us by the fact that they'll need a win pretty bad when they play Sac!!
True, but it does make things more difficult for the Griz too. Say Sac does lose to PSU and to NAU. If NAU and Sac finish with the same record (for 3rd and 4th place) and EWU and the Griz finish with the same record (in 1st and 2nd) who hosts? Sac would be 1-1 against NAU. So I think the tiebreaker would depend on how they did against the team in first place first... well if the Griz and EWU are tied for first, who actually is in first depends on whether NAU or Sac is in 3rd...which depends on who is in first.
My head hurts...
Hopefully Sac will just drop all 3 games or EWU will drop a game and make this easy
Pretty simple from UM's view...
1.) Sac State has the H2H and one less loss at this point. That means they need Sac State to lose at least two.
2.) EWU & UM are tied currently in the loss column and split their matchups, so then goes to record vs. next highest team if #1 happens. If NAU>Sac State, then that favors UM. If Sac State>NAU, then that favors EWU. With NAU loss tonight, it makes NAU>Sac State impossible because even if Sac State loses last two and NAU wins last two, Sac State would be 2-1 vs. EWU & UM while NAU would be 1-1 vs. EWU & UM.
