S. Utah vs. msu Game thread

Things are not well in Bozoland tonight, and the dumpster fire that is BN is just heating up. Check out this gem from the usually stable Ltcf. Talk about going full on conspiracy theorist...

They had 2 drives at a critical point in the game that the refs gifted them. I haven't seen this shiity reffing in about 5 years. Sorry BAC, but you can't see everything on TV. I'm with ya on the victim complex, but this wasn't that. This was a fixed game and it was obvious.

He must not have been watching big sky football for the past five years because big sky refs have been horrible for a lot longer than that

Yeah, they were all horrible 5 years ago. I've been watching for a "long time" obviously.

This game was horrible from the clown show zebras. Probably the absolute worst game I've ever seen live.

I'm not going to get into every single bad call because there are too many to mention, but it was clear the game was fixed because every ticky tack foul for MSU gets called and SUU got away with nearly every legit foul they committed. MSU also got called for holding after Weidenaar pancaked his man. Very next series, the d-line has their jerseys nearly pulled off and no holding call. Most times right in the face of a ref.

I'm not one for the victim complex, but geezus, every time MSU got some momentum, the refs negated it and took it away or gave SUU a free play.

I've never seen something so blatant.

The North Dakota announcers were pretty funny last week, 2 weeks ago a Griz player about beheaded a UND guy via facemask and everybody in Wa Griz saw it...except the refs. Last week same thing with MSU at the Alerus...same result. The announcers said something like "Jeez these guys" and went on a rant about BSC reffing...and they were right.

LTCF, you are one of my favorite MSU posters on here. But I have to ask, are you serious? Do you really think the game was fixed? Was there much action on the game that you know of? Why would anyone fix an FCS level game? Who in god's name would benefit from it? That's like literally the most serious post I've ever seen on either board. That's so far beyond Papag's tinfoil hat. When I read that earlier, I was absolutely stunned that it came from you.

From Onceacat: "
SUU is one of the most penalized teams in FCS (71 yards per game, #101 out of 123 teams), MSU one of the least (44.5 yards per game, #18). But SUU draws 5 for 33 and MSU draws 12 for 123. Not a single hold on that O-line? No horse collars? No facemasks?"

And those 5 didn't come until the game was decided.

From 94VegasCat: "I've been a believer in the ref can't lose a game for a team but after today, I'm doubtful about the BSC refs. We were flagged for crap all day long that SUU was doing too and it was blatant. Stupid penalties that stopped our drives or prolonged theirs. I'm calling bs BAC, they had an impact today and it was obvious. I sit very near Mrs Ash and if she's pissed at refs, I think fans can be too. The mamby pamby crap has cost us all season."

Yes, this game was FIXED and the evidence supports that. Why? Why does anything surprise anyone about this conference?

In all the years of watching BSC football, I've NEVER seen anything like what I saw today. Missed calls are one thing, but usually the same calls are missed on both sides. The evidence doesn't remotely support that for the clown show that was today.

I don't think anyone argues with you LTCF that the refs suck, in Bozeman and everywhere else around the Big Sky, but again I ask. Fixed. Who would corrupt the officials for this particular game? Southern Utah? Internet gamblers? The Big Sky? And if the Big Sky, then why? What do they have to gain from fixing a game for SUU? Does the Big Sky really need SUU in the playoffs? The Cats weren't going to get in anyway, and why would the Big Sky want the Cats not to get in if they could? They are the second biggest draw in the conference? I just honestly have to believe you really don't believe what you're saying. Game fixing is an extremely serious accusation.

How many times do you want me to say it? The game was fixed. Absolutely FIXED.

I have no idea why or who put the fix in, but if you sat there and saw everything as we did today, there is no other conclusion to make.

I expected to lose today, but not like that. That was a disgrace to the game. I've seen bad reffing before, obviously BSC, but I've never seen anything so deliberate as this. There's a difference. This was a fixed game.

I'm fairly certain ltcf is correct. I have it on good authority that the Russian Mafia had over $50 million bet on SUU on this game. Not not hard to figure out how it'd be fixed.

Wait. What's that? The Russians have never heard of SUU, and didn't even know Montana was a state?

I stand corrected. The eleven dollars wagered on this game likely didn't have an impact on the officiating.

So are you going to alert the authorities about this? The FBI? The NCAA?
I can't say at the Big Sky level, but I used to see "fixing" all the time at the high school level. When the refs assume one team is better than another, one gets the calls the other doesn't. Look at Michael Jordan. Guy used to rape players on the court and very rarely got called for anything.

Now, with all that being said, I do have trouble believing the SUU vs MSU game was "bias" fixed.

Now Ash has his excuse......the refs fixed the game as national football fans didn't want state college to win.
