S. Utah vs. msu Game thread

Wow I've officially heard it all. SUU wins in all phases of the game and it's fixed. This is great stuff.
Perhaps the 3 MSU turnovers played a small role. Maybe Prukop and Bleskin were in on it and threw the ball to the other team on purpose. This makes your fan base sound insane. LTCF is a good poster so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that one too many tequila shots clouded his judgment.

I seriously doubt the game was "fixed". If it were fixed, who would really stand to make significant gains to make it worth the risk? That being said, the BSC refs are historically horrible and this year is no exception. But you have to admit, the refs REALLY screwed up calling this game. So many of the missed calls were literally right in front of a ref to. It was pretty blatant and was happening throughout the game.

Waaa, someone call the Whambulance.

Your team showed no desire and the game was over a couple minutes into the third quarter.

You've tried blaming the coach and that did no good, so now its piss poor officiating and dirty players on the other teams.

Flagging Newell AFTER he scores a TD for unsportsmanlike conduct, when all he did was underhand toss the ball to the ref was as BAD a call as I have ever seen. On tv I could not see all of the other infractions but I did see some and it was a badly refereed game...that's all I'll say.

Not sure if it would have made a difference in the game, but it was very one sided.

Hush Markie, we all know why you're 4th string! :coffee:

I don't disagree with you, in fact, I would probably say the same thing if I heard you guys hammering the refs.

Pretty disappointed in the OL performance in the second half too.

I'm not saying SUU didn't deserve to win because they did. They wanted it more.

But none of that changes the impact the refs had on this game. It was despicable

Mommy, Mommy the other kids aren't playing fair!!
Blaming the refs goes out in Little League.
You don't want your quarterback to get hurt, he needs to slide. 3rd and 41, another yard wasn't going to help.
Probably should've been a safety anyway.
Better to be 4th string Griz than a Bobcat

I am scratching my head a bit. Hopefully there isn't anyone who believes that BSC officiating is good? At best they are uniformly mediocre to poor and roughly balanced towards both teams. This year I have thought they have been a bit better but at least some of that improvement is due to instant replay. However, I have seen their calls significantly affect one team over the other many times. I believe that it is mostly happenstance and not a conspiracy but I have little doubt the Bobcats could have been jobbed this time.

That call was just about as bad as a safety we had called on us a few years back on a kickoff. Saw that on TV. What on earth was their reasoning? He threw the ball too hard to the ref?

I don't think anyone argues with you LTCF that the refs suck, in Bozeman and everywhere else around the Big Sky, but again I ask. Fixed. Who would corrupt the officials for this particular game? Southern Utah? Internet gamblers? The Big Sky? And if the Big Sky, then why? What do they have to gain from fixing a game for SUU? Does the Big Sky really need SUU in the playoffs? The Cats weren't going to get in anyway, and why would the Big Sky want the Cats not to get in if they could? They are the second biggest draw in the conference? I just honestly have to believe you really don't believe what you're saying. Game fixing is an extremely serious accusation.

How many times do you want me to say it? The game was fixed. Absolutely FIXED.

I have no idea why or who put the fix in, but if you sat there and saw everything as we did today, there is no other conclusion to make.

I expected to lose today, but not like that. That was a disgrace to the game. I've seen bad reffing before, obviously BSC, but I've never seen anything so deliberate as this. There's a difference. This was a fixed game.
Love You Long Time is dead on here! This game was fixed collectively by Pope Francis, Thomas S. Monson, the current President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Walt Disney Corporation. As can be verified by a record search of aircraft tail numbers, the Triumvirate met in Reykjavik, Iceland on Tuesday night. The conspiracy is thinly veiled. The Roman Catholic Church has long been interested in keeping American Christian groups splintered and weak. To check the power of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Roman Catholic Church has looked to undermine the values and beliefs that most Southern Baptist's hold. With the Baptist's power base drawn predominately from the Southern United States, the Catholics have naturally targeted SEC Football and the Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation to weaken the Baptist's resolve. A way to keep the Baptists in check is to have teams that represent other distinct religious groups win. As anyone who has followed BYU over the years can attest, they always seem to "catch the breaks." This is where the Mormons and Catholics have historically worked closely together.

In past decades, in the months of November and December many South Central Montanans would traditionally travel to theme parks or spend their Saturdays going to the movies. With the recent and relative success of msu football, many now devote their meager entertainment funds to attending msu football games. This has been noted by the Walt Disney Corporation which has recently lost significant market share to bobcat football. They are very interested in recapturing this once moderately lucrative funding source.

As the Triumvirate met for their bi-monthly meeting they looked at how to further their interests in North America. A Southern Utah win would be a win for the Mormon Church and by labeling the Church as "winners" reinforces their hold on the Southern Rocky Mountain region. This helps the Roman Catholic strategy to destabilize American Christians by keeping them divided and weak. A Southern Utah win also assists the Walt Disney Corporation's strategy to recapture their market share of South Central Montana entertainment dollars. The more games the cats lose the more cat fans need a fantasy theme park experience to forget their troubles. The true tipping point of this conspiracy was its ideal plausible deniability. As Pope Francis said, "Everyone they know the shity kitties they suck in the November, ah? No one will ever expect us. Hey Walt, I'll bet you $10 that Coach ron ash blames the loss on Prukop."

Well, because you know Chad, you also know there was nothing on that toss other than some passion to have scored. I doubt the underhanded toss had so much pepper on it the ref's hands stung and he needed to be tended to. It was clearly a horrible call by a ref who has clearly never played the game. :thumb:

Did pkup even throw the ball to a wide out during the game? Watch about 3/4 and can only remember one over-throw.

After watching four Cat games this year, I think Bignell is a good player. Prukop is a tough kid. After that, there isn't much to say. If the S.U. quarterback was a better passer, this game would have been very ugly. He had open receivers all over the place and couldn't hit them.

That hit Prukop took to the head/neck was ugly. Nasty. Looked like it fucking hurt.

Lucky he didn't snap his neck.
