A lot of evidence, but not a full commitment. Will wait for that to add to Verbal list.
I'm with you.

Still, we have heard many times that even a full schollie (rather than a split, allowed for FCS) does not pay the entire "cost of attendance." I suspect that a transfer to UM would save the Hauck family a nice chunk of change. And, despite the downsides of being coached by your dad, he would surely expect to play on a winning team (not a given -- sorry 'jacks -- at NAU).

Can’t he petition NCAA about possibly being eligible by fall with his Dad coaching Griz now? Not saying they will 100% guarantee it, but I thought I read they have in past to similar situations as this falls under a “unique situation” in their guidelines.

I would think it’s possible. Maybe NAU has to agree to it also?

Didn't Hawkins, kid switch when dad went from Bosie to Colorado?
I think that was before the 1 year sit rule though

Yes. The school can ask the rule that be waived for circumstance. Not sure if your dad being a head cut arch at another school qualifies, but weirder things have happened

Doesn’t the UM staff kids go to the U for free or almost free

No

That’s interesting. Staff and faculty at many institutions, including Portland State, UO, and OSU can attend public universities in the Oregon system at 1/3 in-state tuition. That’s pretty significant. If UM doesn’t do this, then that’s a pretty huge benefit that’s being omitted.

I'm pretty sure there is some sort of deduction for children of faculty and staff.

The MUS definitely does offer a tuition waiver for faculty/staff and their family members. I believe it applies to any institution in the MUS. There is a 5 year waiting period, I'm not sure if Bobby's previous employment would apply toward that waiting period or not.

He was a high FCS recruit. Came down to UM, NAU, and a couple others. If you google his name, you’ll find the old egriz topic. NAU is bummed to lose him but was expected after the Hauck got hired. Welcome home Robby!!!
