He also said this:

Whether we went for it or not, when we gave the ball back they were going to score either way.

:o

Wow. Now there's some strong confidence in your defense. I bet those guys feel great this morning, knowing their coach has their back.

Well.....He is right. I don't like the way he put it either, but the way the D played, I don't think they should be concerned about what the coach said. They spent most of the game looking at the backs of the EWU WR's.

Hey, on the bright side...at least this year you guys made them punt. 8-) 8-)

Criticizing Prukop after his outstanding performance is bush league. Prukop won't last thmaturee year, then his backupd will give Ash plenty to criticize, by comparison.

So, both the griz and Cats will be on back-ups for the Cat/griz game? Is that what you are saying?

Ash said he wanted to limit the hits Prukop takes in each game, I don't recall the number. The reasoning was to limit his exposure to injury. Prukop wad Mr. Everything on Saturday, and got hit a lot. So much for limiting his injury exposure. Still, Ash says Prukop could have done better! He ain't Superman, and he's going to face teams with a defense and will, evertually, take it in the Ash. Happened last year. Don't know the extent of BGs injury, or prognosis, so who will play in the Brawl is premature.

I'm hoping he stays healthy so we can knock him around a bit. Unfortunately I doubt Prukop will ever make it to week 11, unless he misses time early and comes back for the last few games.

The Wombats played a terrific game once they woke up from their two week nap. But, wow, Prukop's going to feel that game all week. He took a beating.

Oh but we've been told be a notable cat poster here that Ron doesn't throw players under the bus...

That was out of context. Dakota hinself said that it took him awhile to get things going, get up to game speed, calm down his throws, etc. He had a shitty start to the game and said so. Obviously yes, once he woke up and started clicking he was phenomenal, but if he makes the right read or hits a pass on either one of those 4th down conversions, we aren't having to try to claw back from 17 point deficit and we probably take down EWU. That's not throwing DP under the bus any worse than the comments Stitt made about BG after youur Cal Poly loss.

Prodkopp should have done more. And the HC had absolutely no confidence in his defense down the stretch. These are the thoughts of your head coach, Ron Ash. Publicly. To the media. He is the biggest douche hypocrite in all of CFB.

Why are GRIZ fans even concerned about anything happens in Cat land until GRIZ/Cat game?
We have plenty to be concerned about for the GRIZ, thanks to the last 2 games.

It might help to, poorgriz, if you had a defense !!!

When the Shi##y Kitty offense scores 50 points and racks up over 700 hundred yards of total offense, the Shi##y Kitties should win.

"Listen up offense, we need 60+ points and over 1,000 yards of total O if we're going to have a shot at winning this game !!!"

MSU Football HC Rob Ash's canned lockerroom speech before the upcoming games against Sac State, NAU, Idaho State, North Dakota and Montana.

This from a fan of team with a coach that Promotes the hell out of himself and the "Stitt Happens" brand, comes out firing out of the gate and takes down NDSU, then goes on a whirlwind self promotion tour the following week, allows his team to get beat by Cal Poly at home due to lack of focus, then publicly throws his QB under the bus for the loss, then gets embarrassed at Liberty , still taking no responsibility for the losses, and now thanks to his square peg in a round hole, stubbornly refuses to change his philosophy of running 100 plays a game... so now you have a team that has players dropping like flies and a dangerous NAU team coming to town to open league play. You guys can bash Ash and love on Stitt all you want..... I'm perfectly happy that we have Ash and you have..... Jack Stitt.

All of Griz Nation is very happy you have Ron Ash as a coach. Are you kidding? What's not to love about an assclown hypocrite that embarrasses his players and university wherever he goes?

Amen brother! If they took up a collection to keep ol' Captain Ron in Bozeman I'd surely contribute. He's been there how long? And has accomplished what? They can try the weak sauce bashing of first year coach Stitt all they want -- it smacks of desperation and a serious need to deflect.. They have a real gem there and I hope he stays there forever.

If if's and buts were candy and nuts, Oh....The grizz would be 3-0 !!!!!!

You must be about the only one if the tweets I'm seeing from my cat fans are any indication. They want him gone before season's end.

Any Cat fan with a brain would have wanted him gone years ago. He's coming up on a decade without any success on the field, and he continually embarasses the program off the field. They don't make CFB coaches like Ron Ash. They make plenty of middle school soccer coaches like Ron Ash, but not CFB coaches.

Most came after they read the article in which he stated that he knew his defense had no chance to stop ewoo. I think they wondered why he's in the job if he can't prepare a defense to stop a team a few times during a game.

Just read the last paragraph.

EWU allows 667 yards and 55 points and it's the offense's fault. Life is good when he's coaching your rival.
You might mean MSU allows 667 yards and 55 points. EWU allowed 718 yards and 50 points. Amazing defensive battle.

You can bet Gregg Easterbrook will make mention of this in his Tuesday Morning Quarterback column.

Edit: typos.
