I know, I know, you thought there would be no math. But in all fairness, why did you all of a sudden add the new variable "same team" to your argument...

I didn't all of a sudden add anything. If you're going to test whether a player is going to more productive playing on a bad team/D, you need to test based on the same team, i.e. going from that team being good to the team being not good. It doesn't do any good, in terms of testing that premise, to test with two different teams. Their schemes, players, competition, etc. would likely be so different, that you couldn't make a meaningful. If a player moves a good team/D to a different horrible team, I suppose it's likely the player would be more productive. I doubt that he'd improve sacks and TFL's, thought.

You're one of those people who things going up is the same as going down. It isn't.

Exactly. Helena made a mistake in what he said, completely wrong, end now he won't admit it or stop digging his hole. He just keeps trying to weasel out of his mistake. I know he would. He doesn't that at times.

And there's too many other variables to account for as well. My husband has a book from graduate school called "How to lie with statistics" - this discussion could be tweaked using math and statistics to say whatever you wanted to say! There's never going to be a winner or loser here. Might as well be arguing about whether star-belly sneetches or plain-belly sneetches are better. Let's just all watch some football and have a good time. (And good luck to Riley.)

The word Soldier is a proper noun and should be addressed as such.
That comment is just way out of line.

I will always thank people for their service and am deeply respectful for the sacrifice others have given to defend our freedoms laid out in the entirety of the U.S. Constitution. With that being said, I agree with your statement unless they commit a war crime, then they deserve all the criticism they get.

Wilson said Gonzales' recruiting tactics were as aggressive as his defensive prowess."

Wilson “is a tough sucker and he’s got great leadership skills,” Gonzales said.

Wilson signed with Arizona in December. He has lived up to the hype. He is as good as Hauck said he was.

“Riley Wilson is going to be a household name in Tucson by the end of the season,” Gonzales said. “He’s got some dynamic things he can do both on and off the football and he’s smart. I’ve yelled at him four or five times over the last two days about not running into somebody because we’re not even in pads. It’s great to have to slow him down.”

I don't see anyone on here comparing Riley Wilson to anyone, all I see is well wishes on seeking an opportunity to improve and play at the next level.
Doug Betters (RIP) was a good player we had that left and went to Nevada-Reno. He is still pretty respected around here. He contributed to building Washington-Grizzly Stadium and even Joe Robbie, owner of the Dolphins who Betters played for, made a contribution that he would not have otherwise.
There is a long list of guys like this who played here and then went somewhere else, some for not good reasons, others for very good ones.
I see nothing to lead me to believe Riley Wilson went to Arizona for any other reason than to improve himself. Yet you want to hate that.
