Are you like 14? Your entire argument has been "The Griz can't be good because the cats are good".CatsRback said:ElrodGrizzly said:[/b] Most people don't understand the communication and personal understanding of the guy next to you that it takes to form a good offensive line. This will be the most continuity we have had in years. And, obviously they will be bigger, stronger, and faster than last year. That is the nature of guys in their early 20's being in the weight room all the time.
We had other players come in out of necessity that played very strong and did not show a drop off. That is why I start talking about depth.
Take a lesson from your guy Touchdown Tommy. We're still people over here, and we aren't automatically idiots who know nothing just because MSU beat us last year and had a better season. We have a better team than you think we do, and there is evidence that we have a very solid and deep offensive line. Of course we still have plenty left to prove, but the depth of our line is not nearly as laughable as you have been stating.
MSU rushed the ball considerably more and had a QB duo who stretched out plays so Yes we had more TFL. We also played more games, more playoff teams etc.
MSU also had an honorable mention player. If you’re shocked about Walker then it’s fair for me to say more players could have garnered awards had they not gotten injured.
MSU’s line has also been together awhile.
When you say things like “we’re deep” or “excellent” at position groups and I call you out or want to hear more than just “we’re awesome” you shouldn’t get butt hurt and instead have dialog like any forum should. I also don’t think it’s “laughable” but from my research and who you have returning outside of just the offensive line, I don’t see a shining spot. As I recall as of late, the offense has been a thorn in the side for UM. This board doesn’t do itself any favors in the category of normalcy or thoughtful dialog. Instead it indulges in “cats are little bro” “we will win the conference” “what if we lose half our conference games and win the natty” threads.
There’s two sides of the coin. I have had thoughtful dialog and I’ve also pointed out blind fandom.
He's absolutely right that you're either incredibly dense, or just trolling.
