Ronald Jackson, former 3 star DB played for Akron. He entered transfer portal and tweeted out a commitment to the Griz. I am assuming he knows childs as I believe Akron is where childs left too.
Why is there no video? When will he be here?
I would be surprised to see a soph transfer in and start at that position. Any other position, might be different. But what the hell do I know, I thought the center was pointing pre-snap to order another round for the boys

Here’s his profile. Had 6 offers and lots of FBS interest:

If only you could come up with some new talking points. It's fading, but there was a time when you were an interesting poster. Way back before BH 2.0.

I agree. Now he's frequently just a troll. By the way, do you know where the Griz finished in the conference?

Perhaps egriz should start a thread for just bashing Bobby. AZ, Rosey and Uptop could do all or most of their posting there.

Listen you two hardheads….all I’m doing is trying to lower my expectations to give Bobby a chance to lead the team to exceeding them. He’s done the exact opposite the past two years, and I’m willing to take ownership of the fact that maybe…juuuuuuust maybe….I’ve set my sights too high, so I’m predicting 7-4, 4-4 and no playoffs. Now, if he exceeds that? Awesome. If he GREATLY exceeds that and gets a couple home playoff games, then really awesome and I’ll officially shut my pie hole. But…If he CAN’T exceed that with THAT favorable schedule then I would hope that even you two stalwarts would then be able to admit that we’re in deep trouble.

It all depends on if your starting QB (whoever that may be) gets hurt or not in any games. If he gets hurt, likely 4-4 or worse. If he stays healthy every game, you could do way better and make the playoffs.

Amazing stuff there PG. Absolutely incredible analysis. If we keep our starting QB we may do well. If we lose our starting QB we may not do as well. Man what would we do without your expertise. We are lucky to have you!

Yup, exactly where I am at. AZ is not trolling as you both know. This is a realistic analysis of the situation. Last year's team had high expectations and due to a variety of circumstances failed to achieve. But at some point you have to stop the injury and penalty and general bad luck schitck and recognize that there are some problems. And for me, and obviously for quite a few others, that point is next year. Clearly some would give Bobby 20 years to RTD but I think that by that time there may only be UM/MSU and a variety of schools with 5000 seat stadiums and 1000 fans in the seats to beat. If that is what you want happening to the program that is your decision but you shouldn't skewer alternative opinions by calling them trolls. And going 1-4, if that is the case, against the Cats should be unacceptable for anyone calling themselves Griz fans. Never has been in the past.

Yep. I've learned that's how things roll in grizland. The entire season, and success thereof depends entirely on whether or not one player can make it through the entire season without getting hurt. Good luck with that. Oh, and BTW, I'm sure the Vidlak kid is a nice kid, but he ain't your savior at QB.

AZ has become a troll, much of the time. His posts are not realistic at all. Mostly off base and out to lunch, like yours.

Feel free to point out any problems and provide support for your statement. I will be happy to respond. Don't bother with your opinion. That's worthless.

No one would give Hauck 20 years to RTD. Don't be so stupid. Don't you want to bet $250 on the outcome of the Griz-Cat game next year? Let's bet now. Put up or shut up.

I don't consider you a troll, but you are wrong on virtually every football post you make. You don't understand football or know much about Griz football.

At the very least, our program won’t be known for being doped up and coached by drunks still on the state payroll. So, there’s that.

I know a lot can change and I know we're still waiting on more transfer news + we get guys that come and go, so I'm building this based on what we saw last year and what we know now.

QB: Vidlak / Brown or Abbott or Huot
RB: Ostmo / Gillman or Harris / Childs
TE: Grossman / Barker or Olson
WR: Fontes / Racanelli or Williams
WR: White / Simpson
WR: Bergen / Ver Strate or Deck
T: Pamfiloff or Dries / Ray
T: Casey / Botner
G: Grimsrud or Brown / Good
G: Mayginnes / Kanouse
C: Forbes / Lincoln

DE: Edwards / Hustedt
DE: Gubner / Ramos
DT: McGourin / Nuce
LB: Janacaro / Tirrell
LB: Hill / Rostad
LB: Flink / Wilson III or Croy
S: Cotton / Barnum or Meyer
S: Fouch or Graves / Koppang
S: Jackson or Lee / Klucewich
CB: Walker / Simmons or Whitehead
CB: Gradney / Travillion

KR: Bergen / White
PR: Bergen / White
K: Casper
P: Rohrbach
LS: Pibal

After looking at your depth chart and the roster on Gogriz it seems to me our weakest position is DT. We do have arguably the best DT in the conference in Gubner but after that we have an untested but promising RS Frosh Ramos. Imagine an injury to one or both of them. Grimsrud did a great job filling in last year on the OL but do you move him back? 265 lb tackles aren’t going to cut it.
We have our QB and OL transfers now I’m praying for a run stuffer at or near 300 lbs.

I’d bet you $250 on the ‘Scat game but you’d want me to donate to your Vikings tickets and I ain’t gonna do that. Unless it’s a 501 c3…

I don’t see Detrick’s name on here. Don’t sleep on Derrick. We’re heavy at DE (# off players) and light at DT….not a good combo unless they can put 30-40 lbs on some of those guys and move them inside.

Unless Bobby brings in 2-3 more O-line transfers we’re in for another season of “better hope like hell none of the starters go down”.

You don’t like the young backups? How do you know about their quality? They will have a year more of experience and strength.

This is why I’m picking us to go 1-10 with the sole W over the #scumcats. Because Bobby. Also, nobody seems to be putting it together that we’ve had the shittiest winter weather I can remember, and it just so happens to coincide with Bobby being the HC? Hmm, makes you think. 🤔
