hm.grwn.grizfan,

If you like what you can get at the GSA and are against domestics, go there. It isn't a tough decision.

OR...here is a wild idea...ask if you can show up to someone's tailgate from Egriz that has Montana Micro's and where it will be and thank them with a gift or a good handshake?

The whole reason I started this thread was because I wanted to know what beer was served at Reds tailgate; I already knew what kind of beer they serve at the GSA. I want to partake in Reds bar's tailgate, because you pay $15 for all the beer you can drink, as opposed to $3 a brew at the GSA. I like the GSA just fine, but wanted to do something different this game.....
Well dude, it appears there is a reason it is $15 all you can drink -- pay cheap, get a crappy beer! Economics 101! - Ya get what ya pay for! :ugeek: :thumb:

Wrong  Earlier in the thread I also clearly state that I called the bar and they serve both Slow Elk (a delicious micro brew) and bud light, which would be the aforementioned crappy beer....Sheesh

If a beer was made in the U.S., that makes it a domestic beer for anyone in the U.S.. Your referring to micro vs. macro brews. Reminds me of a friend in college who kept demanding that the bartender give him a domestic and about got bitch slapped.

Drinking a micro with 5-8% alchohol versus a macro with 3-4% makes one a pussy? :? Not to mention, you support your local economy when you drink local. Not only does the beer taste better, and pack more of a punch, but you're contributing to a healthy local economy......And that makes one a pussy???

I think it's good that a great majority of people now realize that they don't have to drink the same-ol piss they've bought for over a decade that comes in 30 packs. I also think that the major brewing companies, such as Budweiser, see the writing on the wall, and have begun to cater to that emerging trend. For instance, Bud-light platinum, is a macro brew that was intended to compete with the micro's that are becoming increasingly popular. Sam Adams has known this for quite some time, and their brews are actually pretty decent. To each his own though friend.

Wine carries a 12-14% alchohol per volume to bud depending on what you drink. Just saying. Its not what a person drinks its the snootiness that goes along with it I guess.

I frequent the Kettlehouse, their original, hole in the wall location behind the Big Dipper, not the newer one above Orange Street by the railroad. By no stretch of the imagination is there a way to categorize us regulars as "snooty". Most, in fact, are blue collar if anything. Lots of stinky hippies as well. Try not to be so judgemental friend.

Generally, if it's not made in Montana I don't drink it.

I was going to call you a beer snob, but then you went and ruled out a ton of great beer out there. Montana has a few decent micros, but I guess it's your loss by missing out on the really great beer in this country. Sure Bud Light tastes like piss, but there is a whole world of beer out there that does not.

Key word in my previous statement was "generally". I went to Bend Oregon recently and went to Deschutes brewery.. They have great beer. Il re-word. I don't drink the macro beers, rather, stick to my micros. To each his own pard.

Generally, if it's not made in Montana I don't drink it, however, if there's no other option I'l drink piss (aka Oly, bud, coors, busch, miller....etc....)

ok, you need to taste yellowstones pale ale, brewed in my back yard, Missoula, Montana, 8.5 % finished with my own homegrown cascade hops, is very smooth but will bite ya in the end ! :D

I knew you had some Butte blood in you!!! The ONLY bad beer is no beer! The wine and cheese crowd has to have these fancy brews with catchy names but at the end of the day just give me a beer, any beer, and I'll be happy!
