Generally, if it's not made in Montana I don't drink it.

I was going to call you a beer snob, but then you went and ruled out a ton of great beer out there. Montana has a few decent micros, but I guess it's your loss by missing out on the really great beer in this country. Sure Bud Light tastes like piss, but there is a whole world of beer out there that does not.

Key word in my previous statement was "generally". I went to Bend Oregon recently and went to Deschutes brewery.. They have great beer. Il re-word. I don't drink the macro beers, rather, stick to my micros. To each his own pard.

Three words for you to keep in mind next end of July.... Oregon Brewer's Festival. Well worth the trip. I go every year and wouldn't miss it for anything.

I will drink wet stuff. When did beer drinking become such a wine tasting event. Kind makes the whole notion of having a beer with buddies a pussy event now. Just my opinion if it serves the end purpose than CHEERS!!

I knew you had some Butte blood in you!!! The ONLY bad beer is no beer! The wine and cheese crowd has to have these fancy brews with catchy names but at the end of the day just give me a beer, any beer, and I'll be happy!
I am with you bro ! Did ya see the Butte Beer i posted for ya ?

Absolutely and the new Butte Brewey is now under construction in Butte maybe we will have some decent local brew soon and not the piss that Quarry is putting out.

I frequent the Kettlehouse, their original, hole in the wall location behind the Big Dipper, not the newer one above Orange Street by the railroad. By no stretch of the imagination is there a way to categorize us regulars as "snooty". Most, in fact, are blue collar if anything. Lots of stinky hippies as well. Try not to be so judgemental friend.
you and I ( HGDF ) may have possibly drank in each others company at KH !

:thumb: I lived one block away for two years while i was going to the UM and used to go their to read and drink on a daily basis. Now its hooked me, and it's my feel-good spot
Look for me next time, I am the old dude wearing maroon ! :beer2:

Will do!

Wine carries a 12-14% alchohol per volume to bud depending on what you drink. Just saying. Its not what a person drinks its the snootiness that goes along with it I guess.

I frequent the KH on the north side....quite a drive from my house, but I like the old building.

hey homegrown, ...that's what I get for just skimming the posts! reading goes a lot quicker when you don't take the time to comprehend! I was also just jerking your chain as well...the internet needs a sarcasm font! happy drinking!!

Generally, if it's not made in Montana I don't drink it, however, if there's no other option I'l drink piss (aka Oly, bud, coors, busch, miller....etc....)

ok, you need to taste yellowstones pale ale, brewed in my back yard, Missoula, Montana, 8.5 % finished with my own homegrown cascade hops, is very smooth but will bite ya in the end ! :D

Dear Mr. Yellowstone,

I would love to try some of this fine tasting brew of yours. Home grown hops? That is awesome. I am a hops man. Thank you in advance.

Waiting Intently,

Geddes

hm.grwn.grizfan,

Did you end up going to the Red's tailgate, or the GSA, or a private, or did you just suck your thumb and stay home and bitch and moan?

Why the harsh words? In fact I was at the Red's tailgate.
