Reasons Ty took the msu job

I'm sorry but a few of you are beyond hypocritical...Last year when Ty was retained everyone was really pumped and excited and now that he is leaving everyone is talking like he was the worst DC in U of M history...Ty was a good coach and will be missed, The little brothers got a good coach but we will still beat that ass(sorry Payton) next season!

Anyone that considers leaving the griz for the bobcats is a bitch and not someone I would ever want coaching our guys!

This is the issue: not that Ty is leaving, per se, but that he is going to the Cats. THAT, my friends, is pure sacrilege.

You mean 2nd round playoff appearance with none of the players he recruited??? Or firing the winningest coach in program history and losing the do everything all amercian qb to the FBS????? One of these examples is our program...the other is yours.

I haven't read much on here so apologies if this has already been posted, but I think there are a number of reasons Ty moved on. 1. There was an obvious divide between him and coach Stitt. 2. It's rumored Kandice was offered a coaching job in Bozeman. 3. If I'm a defensive coordinator who is trying to move up the ranks, I would hate to coach in a quick strike type of system where the defense if on the field for a huge majority of the game. UM's defense was very good this year, but I believe they would have been absolutely dominant in a "bobbyball" type of environment where the players were actually able to get some rest.

As it stands, I don't think this situation is much different than if Cramsey were retained by Choate. Both are big firery personalities who the players love and I think Cramsey would have been looking to jump ship ASAP.

That said, leaving UM and going to MSU is a big giant middle finger of epic proportions.

P.S. I haven't seen anyone manipulate Gregorak's name yet, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in CDA and Everett. May I suggest Todd Gregorcat?

Ha. The defense was good enough in most cases although we could not stop the run. If you guys had run Prukop and Fabio all day you would have at least scored a couple times. BTW, once we got BG back we racked up over 140 points vs EWU, Cats and SDSU. I'll take that kind of weak offense all day.

Just to be clear and put an end to this speculation - Ty's wife Kandice is NOT coaching volleyball anywhere in Bozeman. She is a stay-at-home mother with two beautiful young children. :clap:
